I've been hosting a modest mining operation for two months now, and I want to join the community more.
Hey, I just registered. Currently fascinated by cryptocurrencies and trying to build a (very) small portfolio to play around with. As a broke college student I am sadly not able to invest much money.

Hey there, my name is Dave aka 2broke2smoke. Now, I am a complete Newbie when it comes to Bitcoin and I have no idea what the heck anything means yet, but that is why I am here. It is an extremely interesting concept, idea, and type of currency that I see great potential in and I hope to learn as much about it as I can.
For starters, I'm still trying to figure out what in the heck Bitcoin Mining is... but I guess reading a few articles or post on the topic would help. So far, all I have heard is the term itself, so off I go to learn. If anyone has any suggestions for newbies such as myself, I would greatly appreciate it!

Still figuring things out. At the moment I see Bitcoins as having lots of potential and that's reflected in its appreciation against the USD and other currencies.
I still have to find a use for it myself other than a store of value. I guess as the Bitcoin economy develops there will be more uses.
