It's nice to have a place to discuss BTC and mining.  This has peaked my interest immensely.

If anybody is into progressive rock, you can download all of my records for free at:  http://discography.woolgatherband.com/, as a thank you for all your help here.

don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

Looking to do research into Sha256 and mining.

Currently own a number of FPGA development boards from Xilinx.

XUPV5-LX110T

looking to build a complete project in Xilinx that can just be loaded directly by students to get them up and running.

yep I know about 'Open-Source-FPGA-Bitcoin-Miner' but it is not just a straight load & run.

I"m new to Bitcoin, been devouring the forums for 7+ hours in the last week... simply fascinating, the Bitcoin concept resonates with me.

I live in Canada and think I'll make a trip to the States soon to purchase thru Bitinstant . I appreciate the anonymity it provides for the amount I'd like to get in one shot. I have no desire to provide the info the largest Canadian and American exchanges require.

Hi,
Im MasterX.

Im from belgium.

Several weeks ago i discovered bitcoins, bitcoin mining and bitcoin selling.
In the mean time i learned a lot about different setups and configurations for pools, miners, webshops and even bitcoin exchange web apps.
I love the whole thing about freedom and i am definitely ready to participate the community.

I have a lot experience in linux and windows setups! ;-)
If any one need some help in any setup they would like to achieve, feel free to give me a call and i see what i can do!

Cheers,
MasterX

Nobody minds I didn't read all those 372 pages of introductions, eh? Well, I know this site for quite some time (1yr+): It's a really good and reliable source for everthing bitcoin :thanks:

Don't even know why I joined just now (was sooooooo overdue!)...

My mining contribution is about 120MHash/s provided by my 60W Radeon 6670.

Cheers Smiley

Been lurking for a while and mining for a bit longer.

Usually frequent r/bitcoins, so new to this site but not the BTC economy.

Currently trying To persuade online merchants that i use to offer BTC as a payment option.

So far messaged 2, got 1 positive response.

Hey!
I want to expiriment with mining and test the Hash speed of my pc.
I dont mine 24/7 but only when I have the pc on.
I dunno how much posts are needed to place posts in the ''regular'' forum and would like to know that.

I currenly get ~300 mHash/s with my Asus Radeon HD7850 and im happy with that number becouse I dindt bought the pc for mining Tongue (but for gaming)

I see this forum has some nice people in it and you get always help with your problems, thats a good thing to see!  Grin
