Hey there, I'm new to Bitcoinland, but familiar with virtual currencies and their merit. It shouldn't have taken me this long to discover the Bitcoin..  Angry

Hey, guys.  I'm a new[ish] casual miner, running about 300MH/s on an old gaming rig I had with a 6770 and a spare 5670.  Was wondering about the 11 hour block on deepbit, and nosed around the forums a bit and finally decided to join.  I've mined maybe a total of 30 days over the past few months, but I think my rig is going to stay on.

I'm a graduate student of Math, concentrating in number theory and complex analysis, and I've liked the idea and execution of bitcoin since I first heard of it, and finally got into it a bit more.  I have a little background in computer science as well from undergrad at Georgia Tech, but switched to pure math.

So hi, might lurk around a bit.  I may be interested in helping out on any projects, like yours Bia.  ^^

Cheers,

-- Van

My name is Bia Yao Ma. Please to be here.

Interested in bitcoin since it's inception, but too busy with classes to get involved. Now I have graduated and have less work load, I plan on involving myself in development of bitcoin and advancing cryptography. I have completed my MMath in computer science from The Institute for Quantum Computing University of Waterloo. Working now with stock trading company, would like to be able to work full time in cryptography or quantum cryptography soon.

Am currently playing around with P2P bitcoin stock exchange that will function independently from the blockchain, have no owners/managers, no fees, and will issue wallet.dat type files for shares so your proof of ownership is stored locally. Trust will only have to be between investor and issuer, no worrying about exchange messing up.

Anyone interested in discussing such a project, or if you may have need of someone with my abilities for your project, private message or email me please.

Hi all, I have been interested in bitcoin since I found out about it like a year ago. I am still in school, learning web programming.
Recently I finally decided to set up some mining hardware, and currently going at 2.2 GH/s
I have been reading this forum for quite a while, a lot of topics helped some of my questions answered. And now I finally decided to join the community.

I'm actually an old-timey user here, but I don't want this account tied in with my old one for the sake of anonymity. I'm willing to play nice and post a bit here, unless some mod wants to let me verify the old account privately. Smiley

Hi everyone.  I've been sent here from Bitcoinary - a site with potential, but also bit issues.

Keep the bit between your teeth!

don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

relax take it easy and smile. Cheesy

Heard about bitcoin first time over a year ago, but just only recently I took time to get more information about it. I have already couple of bitcoin business-ideas, and also thinkin of starting to accept bitcoins at my current services.

Hi got started on bitcoins not too long ago, pulling up all nighters studying them. Probably not a smart thing to do to go straight ahead and buy me a BFL Little single.
Now all I got to do is wait. :/

Hi everyone. I'm Lloyd. I started reading about bitcoin several months ago and have gotten interested in it. I am a Linux admin by trade and feel right at home on a command line, but I would like to develop my financial skills (investments, trading, etc). Thanks in advance for everyones' patience.
