Thanks! Oh I've been lurking for the last year and GPU mining since last April (small operation, 2 Ghash).. also hosted Plato on his BTC road trip last summer! But it's about time I got involved on the forum

Well I registered in early 2011 and generated some of the first bitcoins in 2009 after reading the whitepaper but I have yet to post! So I'd like to get active in the forums so I suppose I must start from scratch and post here now
Doubt anyone really reads these posts in this huge thread but does anyone remember joining the IRC channel which was used for connecting to other nodes back in the day? There were only a few users there in 2009 so a few of us where there talking. Old days now... back then you could send from IP to IP with a message attached I think. So I remember sending a few coins to people and asking them to join!
