I've had Bitcoins for a while now. I just haven't bothered with this forum.

I have an online silver bullion store and I'm wanting to accept bitcoin as payment.
However, I am lost and don't even know where to look to find a starting point. I've down-loaded bitcoin, and I think it's mining, but there's a lot of code talke and stuff and I'm completely out of my league. Any help would be appreciated.

You can find help (like integration with bit-pay, which handles all bitcoin transactions for you, or receiving bitcoins directly) at the Technical Help subforum. I checked out Bitcoin a few years ago and read the paper, but then got distracted by other things. A few months ago, I started looking at Bitcoin again, and this year I ran into some Bitcoin fans at DefCon and they convinced me to get back on the bus.
I'm a software engineer by day, and have always loved crypto. I'm really interested in what we can do to help with user adoption and accesability around Bitcoin. So, if you have an idea about something we could do to get more people using Bitcoin but need help hacking it up, feel free to message me!

While still clunky, hopefully this is a simpler, faster, and more transparent process than our original email-based ordering process.
