Greetings.

I'm pretty new in "bitcoinworld". Registered here because I need loan coins fast and safe. It seems you guys have pretty ok marketplace. Just started mining yesterday and thinking getting better graphics card (maybe whole new computer) for that, it's pretty interesting (if I do get loan from someone i don't buy that card or computer with those money). We'll see what next few days brings, but I'm here to stay Smiley

I'm not registered any other forums, so even this forum posting is new for me, so there might be several things I'll mess up..? hope not Smiley

Hi Guys,

I guess its a necessary evil to be confined to the newbie rooms. How long are we sidelined here for ?

Anyway, welcome, everyone!

Hi everyone, I've been using Bitcoin for almost a year (my oldest transaction dates back to August 2011), but I only decided to register on this forum now (even though I read a lot of threads as a guest, to keep up with the news). I'm a web developer with a few more or less successful websites which I present under the name "tny. internet media". I developed an URL shortener that also shortens Bitcoin addresses (among many other features), and I plan on adding more Bitcoin/Litecoin-related features to it soon. I also try to get other people to use, promote and accept Bitcoin at their businesses and websites Smiley

Welcome. Cheesy
Just take a look in the Services subsection to see if there's any projects for your skill niche, or stroll around the Development & Technical Discussion to see what you can add on. That would be invaluable.
Thanks, I'll do that! Smiley

Hi folks,

I figured it was time to try out this cryptocurrency thing.  I'd like to say "thanks!" to everybody that's put work into all the software and documentation that's floating around here; it's not been terribly hard getting things working.

I have some software development experience (C, C++, Python, DirectX11/DirectCompute, a little OpenCL, on Linux and Windows) and some applied math education. If anybody can suggest anything that would be useful to the cryptocurrency economies, I'd be glad to help out when I have some spare time.  (Small projects would be good for now--this is mostly just a hobby at the moment.)

Thanks!
Max

I've been lurking a while, learning what I can about trading and enjoying the Bitcoin community. Time to start contributing back.

I'm mostly investing in companies on GLBSE at the moment.
