Howdy.

I'm one of the skeptics when it comes to bitcoins, but I'm always willing to learn and have any mistaken negative thoughts disproven  Smiley

Hello there,

my name is JP, and i'm from Belgium.

Learned about bitcoin through a friend, and i think it has unlimited potential at this stage.

Recently started mining , both with GuiMiner and the browser version (bitcoinplus).

Bit disappointing results, because apparently i have an Nvidia card, which arent too great for mining...(unless someone knows a way to possibly improve it?).

The BTC are slowly trickiling in (or, wel, the 0.00001 BTC to be honest), but i'm having a great time exploring everything atm Smiley

please do so! and get some posts Smiley
don't be so negative, the 50-post-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

relax take it easy and smile. Cheesy

Hi Everyone...

I guess we do learn something new every day. A friend of mine told me about bitcoins yesterday, and now here I am.. Sounds interesting =) I'll be spending majority of my time reading up and learning as much as I can.. I don't want to make any newbie mistakes.

I am a mild-mannered systems administrator by day, who dabbles in Bitcoin by night.

Mostly I'm just interested in seeing how this experiment turns out.  I have never cast a vote for Ron Paul nor completed a work of Ayn Rand (though I gave the latter a few tries before giving up entirely).  However, the libertarian ethos of the project interests me.

Atlas Shrugged is all you need to concern yourself with, as far as I'm concerned.  I'm almost positive the public school system encourages you to read "The Fountainhead" so you'll never want to pick up Ayn Rand again.

And same here re: Ron Paul, but I think 2012 might be his year.

Yeah so I am a n00b, I have some mining going on and waiting for a transfer to TradeHill. Love the whole concept of Bitcoin and looking forward to interacting with other coiners! Cheers, Chuck.

I'm a software engineer, with a long time interest in alternative currencies, particularly digital cash.  Bitcoin's solution to the double spending problem fascinates me.

Hi,

My name is Chris, and I'm a part-time bitcoin day-trader and full-time technophile.  I found out about Bitcoin a few months ago and have been trading ever since.  So, yes, long-time lurker (by BTC standards).

Personally, I'm a fairly accomplished businessman, so I see Bitcoin as a way to extend my investing experience.  The money that I may or may not make from it are far less important than the experience of watching an embryonic idea come to (hopefully) large-scale fruition.
