I think it's a very good move because I see EOS has very good potential, the project they develop is very useful for many people and eos can also be very expensive because it has a very high demand.
Eos will be pass the own blockchain but it hasnt been ready yet but still we can invest to EOS that has high potential.
The amount of $ 5, a very small investment. If the limits of the resource where you will be purchased EOS allow you to make such a purchase, then invest quietly. The risk is small and the coin has potential for growth.
IMHO EOS is quite big now already, but it can make x3-x4 from current 8 usd. I still don't understand how their airdrops work if your money are on exchanges. Can someone explain how it works?

yes you must invest now remember that in 2017 the ethereum cost the same of eos today around the 8 dollars being that you know that it increased but of 40 to its old price yes this is a good idea to invest now in EOS

If I invest $5k in EOS now, will it be worth in 2018?
I heard EOS own blockchain will be released in 2018 and it will be moved to its own blockchain then its price will skyrocket.

EOS belong to the Altcoins then of course its worth it specially that their product of cyber security is feasible to the masses and it become no.1 in China lists of Blockchain Rankings in which it will help a lot to make the EOS market to become more strong and stable. So its really good to keep buying and holding this Altcoin as it really has a huge potential earnings for this year.
I'm not surprised by the Chinese listing it as a top coin because obviously they back it up. They went a complete U-turn but at from behind they have their own agenda, to have a coins like EOS. And we know that its being pictured as a threat to Ethereum, but it remains to be seen. I think though that the OP has made a good move investing early on EOS because it everything falls into place and it really challenge Ethereum for the second spot, its price could go up so good job OP.

EOS growth has been promising to investors. Yes i too have invested around $500 in it and watching the trend now. Just look at the chart in coinmarketcap. Unlike other altcoins, EOS had a huge hike this May when other altcoin including bitcoin were on an average growth. EOS is looked upon as a coin grown quickly in a short span. Hopefully this December would yield more turn over. All the best.
Yeah, EOS is a good Altcoin you can invest in now. Coz it has a good future and a potential to become the next Ether.
EOS seems to be going strong even though some people have criticized them for lack of a tangible project. Investors seem to be in love with EOS already and it's likely you are going to make some profits because there is a very good daily volume. People are really interested in owning EOS.
I think you make the right call, $5k then would have increase significantly now, EOS has alot of issue, so it ethereum and Bitcoin. I don't know how they want to address this issue but people should try to see the project from a new angle. The smart contract space is still there to take and won't rule EOS totally out of the game for now
