For me, I already invest in ethereum in this year because I think ethereum can increase higher like the last year and this is the best chance for me to buy a lot of ethereum while the price is down too hard. And after I have the ethereum, I don't use the ethereum for another purpose, and I only keep it in my wallet and waiting for the rise of ethereum. I think it's too risky if I use to invest in another thing as the market cannot be predicted and still moving to anywhere and I know that my chance to get the profit is small at this moment, so it's better to hold the ethereum.
Is the time right to invest in ethereum or is it at a bad time? 
If for a long time, it is possible that now you can start to buy a little...and forget for a long time to then see a good profit.
eth is best because it each transaction affect by other block and it is used as an algorithm to secure your transaction.

there are many who buy ethereum as an investment in 2018 and it turns out the market still has a long correction plus manipulation. finally ethereum was dying quite difficult to grow. - low transaction fees
- good transaction speed (esp compared to Bitcoin)
- apart from Bitcoin, I can't think of any other token/coin etc that is more talked about than Eth
- people love it!
Personally, I think now is a great time to invest in ETH. I've read so many predictions that it will reach $2500 by end 2018, and huge forecasts for 2020, etc., who knows if it will reach these prices, but if you use it, can see it's potential - then why not take a punt.

This year ETH has shown not so bad results during the last time and to my mind it could be invested because it needs in this like in the supporting in the restoring.
Even if his direct competitor in terms of technolgies Neo tries to make him shade Ethereum is still the leader and remains more used and has more chance to break new records in the future months so do not hesitate to invest you do not not regret it, the contract smarts can have an infinity of application in the real life unlike the other cryptocurrency.

I consider the ethereum to be a good coin and I have never had any problems with security. Of course it's not perfect but developers are constantly working to improve it.
I think this is the right time to invest in Ethereum as the best coin in Altcoin today. I just checked prices and it looks like ETH must have eaten some of the alts from inside BTC before clawing its way out of BTCs stomach.
For me, I'd definitely invest some on ETH while the price is low. Don't worry too much of the idea that it will be gone cause it won't happen so easily, given the fact that ETH isn't just another shitcoin. Buy and hodl and wait for the value to rise, then gain your profits.
ETH is not so strong as it was so investing will not be unnecessary there at all. I likek its value but price of ETH has very low level now, I want to see it increasing.
Actually it's always depends on your motivation. Is it for long-term or short-term investment? if your answer is for the long term, it doesn't matter when it's good to buy or not because basically the long term is just waiting for prices to skyrocket. and if you make a short-term investment I strongly recommend watching the market so you know when to buy and sell. Thought?
