So we either get nothing, or our money back if it's successful? Sounds strange...

I'm not to fond of crowdfunding campaigns that basically has nothing to show, as I've seen far too many fail.  Undecided

As far as having nothing to show, you will find this roadmap is extremely detailed and realistic. Ultracoin raised 60000 dollars in 14 hours after posting the announcement on bitcointalk, and it was nowhere near such advanced features.

I do see your point, but if i had a demo this thread would not be here Smiley

Introduction :


Virtual reality will be mainstream within 5 years time,and mass adopted within 10 years.

The way we think of consuming content such as movies, music, browse the internet and play games will change considerably during this time period.


Experience is not a cryptocurrency but a virtual reality platform that enables the user to create items, creatures, vehicles, buildings and programmable experiences to share and/or monitise.

Star in an adventure and rate it, earn money with your creations and experiences.

Control the in-game tools with intuitive hand gestures and voice commands and / or controllers and virtual surfaces.

Storyline :

You are a part of a race of hyper advanced cyborgs in the galactic time unit 9000, decendants of ancient humans. Humans began to modify themselves and started to integrate technology directly into their bodies.

Step by step civilisation became more efficient and society was streamlined to near perfection, but had to pay the price with giving up their humanity, bit by bit.

They developed a conciousness called "brain".

This powerfull A.I controlled the planet information network called "the grid"

Eventually ,technology advanced so far that their homeplanet was destroyed, because it was to advanced to control.

Several collossal escape vessels were able to flee from the exploding planet. You have all been sent to the corners of the galaxy with an exodus vessel.

Your mission to find planets and restart civilisations. , and you have an uplink to brain, or what is left of him since he which was damaged in the mass exodus,resulting in communication loss between exodus vessels.

During your deployment on your designated planets, you have been instructed to re-discover what it means to be human

You also have to learn new ways to build up the planet that was assigned to you. After learning everything on your designated planet, you must branch out and find your Lost brothers and sisters. So much time has passed that there is no way to know how they have evolved over the time communication was lost.

Find them by exploring the galaxy or find a way to re-establish communication.

Build up your planet with your brothers and sisters without compromising your internal programming. If you find programming that does not correspond to your sourcecode you must analise it and find a solution to unify it with your own.


but wait...........

With all these glitches in brain, can we really be sure we left the planet, or did we melt into brain and we aren`t even really here....

Is this all just an eleborate simulation or did we really escape from our home planet?

Mind...........Blown!

technical explenations:

These different planets will all be inhabited by actual players, the difference in culture described above is not scrypted but actual different development , depending on what faction you choose.

These different planets will have overlapping items, but also unique sets, stimulating inter galactic travel and trade.........or battle?

Because one of the main pillars of Experience is immersion/presence Your real time controlers are directly linked to the in game architecture.

A real life seated experience with oculus rift will result in a different in game body then when the player has a real life walking device such as Virtuix Omni or Cyberith Virtualizer.
In this last case, bipedal walking body modification extensions will become available.

This way the feeling of presence is not disturbed by a dissonance between the real world and the virtual world.

Why is this here on bitcointalk in the style of a crypto currency IPO?

First of all : Experience will feature multiple cryptocurrencys according to the pay/vote model for trading, paying and in game purchase, so it will help to advance the mass adoption of cryptocurrencys world wide.

Second of all, i am very familiar with this crypto community from my time as btc-e mod and UTC founder.I have also personally seen the power of a group of people banding together for a common goal within the crypto community.





Funding plan:

The experience project will be funded in multiple stages.

The investment opportunity featured on this page is about phase 1 only.





The multiphase funding targets are:

Phase 1 : 50.000 USD : Production of technology showcase / Gameplay demo (+movie marketing etc.)

Phase 2 : 1.000.000 USD : Crowdfunding stage for full production run and first release:



This dual stage funding plan with get Experience to a launching phase, but it will not be a final product. The modular development style architecture will allow plugins to be inserted after launch.

The idea is using subscription revenue to complete full development.




How will our funding be used if we support this?


5000 USD will go towards hardware.

10000 USD will go to making a technology showcase environment with integrated hardware support (motion capture, headtracking.

10000 USD will go to a basic in game content creator tool, it will showcase virtual reality and show the potential of the concept.

5000 USD will go towards the making of the crowdfunding page and a presentational video made by hired professionals.

10000 USD will go to a marketing campaign (this is a big factor in succeeding or failing a crowdfunding campaign.

10000 USD will go to additional and unforeseen costs.




If you are a developer and you have studied the concept you will most likely argue that this budget is to small for this size venture. The reason it will work is is the grassroots style modular development.

Small one man army dev studios will be targeted, to execute most features mentioned on the forum withing a plugin architecture.

Offcourse it would help if the round 1 funding target of 50.000 USD is exceeded, since it will increase the chances of securing the second target.

Explanation on the reduced fee:

Lets look at this example:

Billy509 has created an awesome sword and he has placed it in the item store for 100 in game credits.

Killdog has bought the sword, Experience gets 0.5% fee and Billy509 gets the rest.

You will now recognise this revenue model from crypto currency exchanges.



The bitcointalk round must raise enough funds for a tech and gameplay demo, as well as a professional crowdfunding movie and promo funds.


If you visit the forum mentioned below, you will see that this plan is enormous and it will need a huge ammount of money to develop.If we join forces we will show industry leaders that the community can come together and complete a massive task.

We are living in modern times where crowdfunding is becoming more popular every day,big banks and coorporations have proven to have taken big risks and lost peoples money, resulting in global crisis.





What happens when we support this round, you make the demo and crowdfunding fails?

This is a medium/high risk investment profile so Only invest what you can afford to loose. PLease note that in the best case scenario your full investment, game and perks will be delivered in 1 year from now.

Offcourse i am going to do everything within my power to complete this project, and i am not dillusional about my own capabilitys or underestimating the vastness of this project.


Failing the crowdfunding campaign is indeed a real possibility. Even though you do your best,sometimes its just not enough. We have seen asic company CEO`s be over confident in their own ability and/or underestimating the vastness of a task. I am confident in my own ability, and i know this project is huge. However if 50000 can not get a grassroots style playable demo then i must be the biggest oompaloompa in the galaxy.

Please note that failing the second round of funding for full production does not mean i will just give up and quit. I will make this thing a reality no matter what. The modular plugin architecture also allows for things to be developed after launch, just like minecraft and bukkit plugins.

By joining together and connecting the developers in the indie sector we can all make this a reality.It may be no surprise to you that i am receiving almost no attention or replys from industry leaders.

The reason is that they are doing this themselves, and they dont need competition. Let`s all show together that the little guy can make a difference!

Instead of gambling on the new supposedly wonderfull shitcoin and then crying you lost all your money, take a chance in being a part of the biggest collaborative gaming experience platform ever.
