I missed the dip the other day and am wondering if I should hold out for another dip or if the current prices are still decent. Mainly looking at litecoin and etherum. I also need coins regardless so I can exchange for other altcoins.
seems like you are new to this cryptocurrency world. i think you need to take more time to learn how to invest and more about cryptoworld. i suggest you to starting learn by read any kind news about cryptocurrency. do it regulary every day and something good will come to you. try to do trading and give a shoot to invest some in good top 100 coin. Your choices to invest in ethereum and litecoin already wise enough. but for expecting fast return it will be hard and seems impossible. if you waiting for next dip i dont know when it will be and when it will occur. but its true you might get more profit from buying coin when market crash but you might loss the opportunity to invest now cause seems like the market are growing and recover now.

Don't wait. Invest what you can with dollar cost averaging. Always have cash in reserve to add on the dips. When you feel scared is the time you should be adding more. Hard to do for everyone in real life...

It would be nice waiting for the right time bro ...
For example, when the price again decreases, time to buy and hold

For myself, I decided that in the crypto there is no room for grief of lost profit. Very often  i'm  buying, and the coin goes down,i'm selling - and it's growing. So decide whether you want to invest or not right now, and if so, then do this and do not look back.

You can wait for the price to drop before you invest but how sure are you that the price will even drop to your satisfaction. To me every time is the best and appropriate time to invest. It all depends on how wisely you invest and the coin you invest in. One thing we should know is that the price you may be waiting for before you invest was high some time ago but has now become low for you. The world is not static neither is it moving backward. Altcoin is not going to drop drastically as it was in the beginning. Time is money and precious. The more you wait for it to drop the higher the amount you lose. You may spend it "unnecessarily". Investment is all about risk taking. The higher the risk the greater the profit. Don't be afraid to lose money as a proud investor.

The most important thing is the ability to wait. If you decide to invest, then act. No one knows where the market will go.

The total market cap should conservatively reach 5 Trillion by 2019 based upon the current growth models. So long as you stay away from scam coins and play it safe with the top 50, I would imagine a seeing 10x increase. Again speculative so due your due dilligence.

Look at these factors too - the increase in adoption was huge in Nov and Dec - exchanges user load grew by a factor 10+ in two months time and so quickly most of the large/reputable ones shut down new registrations...those people and that money are itching to enter the market and when the infrastructure catches up, it will pour in.

Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow! Look at the coins and purchase the ones that are not at the peak, study charts, and allocate capital in a many coins!  Wink
Why did you decide that this would help? For example: I do not think anything and bought just coins on your advice, and then it turns out that I just bought counterfeit coins that will not bring me profits how to be?

There's no time to wait but now. The prices are increasing steadily and it will be quite late for you if you are still going to wait for a dip to happen. That will be less likely to be so, given that there has been a dip that happened twice already.

Its correct no time to wait, just buy.  i think like you.
For what you gonna wait ?

it is not time to invest now, there is still plenty of time to wait until all dumps, especially btc,

Merosotnya the market price like bitcoin this is the usual thing I think not associated with the investment, we see in the previous year when the market price bitcoin down when bitcoin banned in China and a few days ahead, the market price bitcoin straight up dramatically, so don’t panic when the price bitcoin down.

Today, there is a unique opportunity to buy almost any altcoin to keep it for a long time and then get a significant profit. We live in a wonderful time. Wink

Now is the time to invest, we will not fall below. Well, it's worth paying great attention to the altcoins, they will grow and give more X in the near future than bitcoin.

If we are talking about ICO, then we should pay attention to ArcBlock, a very promising ICO. Well, be sure to learn what you will invest your money in.

There was a good change to enter in this "game" two days ago when all market was red. And usually after such fall we should expect a steep growth. So maybe it's still a good point to invest now. At least it's definitely not too late to start. The market will grow for sure.

I think there's still time to buy coins. The market has not fully recovered since the last decline. But a few days ago it was the most successful time to buy.

“I’m single for a reason waiting on the right one to come along.”

Opportunities should be taken if one is able to do so. And you should look for opportunities. I think waiting is never an option.

The question that you should be asking yourself is whether you'll be going long term or short term for your investment on those coins. If you're going long term, I advice you to buy them now (but not all in) as they have more room to grow in the future. The price really doesn't really matter if your goal is for long term holding. And, if you are looking for a short term one, entry point is everything and you should be picky on your entry price. Plan first before making any buying decision in any coin that you want to invest.
