It is not the perfect time to invest.now the whole market is falling.There is no ideal time for investment. The crypto-currency market is a market of high risks.There will be moments when your investments are in due time, and sometimes it not so. you can go and buy now but if it still at a high price, you better just wait for it to drop.

Now are a correction and a good time to buy coins and make a long-time investment. After red, as usual, the price will be in green again.
If you want to hold long term, you may invest anytime because it wouldnt matter anyway 5 years or more holding you coins (eth, btc or even lite) you'll be till rich. But if you want to trade daily, you'll have to wait to buy low and sell high.

I missed the dip the other day and am wondering if I should hold out for another dip or if the current prices are still decent. Mainly looking at litecoin and etherum. I also need coins regardless so I can exchange for other altcoins.

If your goal is a long-term investing, then it actually doesn't matter when you will buy, today or in a month. In one year, all the main cryptocurrencies will cost much higher
