You are right. To start an investment or just participate in a bounty program, a project needs to be checked first. The rating site can indeed be used as a reference source for assessing a project, but do not serve as a determinant in making investment decisions. More important is the benefits of the products offered and the experience of the team in their fields.

I don't understand why people believe rating sites. It's obvious many projects have paid for those "super-high numbers"! And even experienced traders believe in ratings despite most of the projects with high ratings have disappeared from the market! Absurd!

Yes It's just like what happened to bounty hunters like me that were just like wasting my time because i did not receive any bounty tokens since i participated in the bounty campaigns.

Better believe it, publicity effectively pull in financial specialist. I see some task that have a working item and their wire bunch was underneath 5k. And after that there are some task that clearly a trick yet have a 20k individuals. Does this folks dont read or research enough on a particular task before getting included. Cmon folks, do your own exploration not simply be diverted by publicity. Dont let your well deserved cash be defrauded by others.

Yes, I also agree with you that you should take your time to do a very good research and be sure of the potentials of the project before you invest in it. Take time to check the whitepaper and all necessary information and be sure it has a very good team member beofre you invest or participate in the bounty.

I agree that wise investment is necessary.
Must talk to developer of the project.
I found that projects in which developer are the founders are stable and good to go.
Here is a project which I found promising where one can earn coins forever. Worth investing.
It's a good project and is in its initial stage. Intended to work for IOT and Nano-Tech.
Seems profitable.
They introduced PMA (Permanent Master Address), most probably they are restricting founder's profit and providing the same to miners and investors.

I completely agree with MadGamer here. People should not just invest their time in doing bounties for things which are not even worth the time because half of these token will just sit in your ERC20 wallet and collect dust. They would either not get listed for trading or the actual value of the tokens will be worth nothing vs the time and effort you might put in. As far as ICO is concerned 95% of them are scams and people who have been in this industry already know this. even if they have a good rating from different rating sources, it doesn't necessarily mean they are good. Please do your due diligence before investing.

True, right now there are so many ICO keep coming up and some of this project were a fraud so before investing on some project you gotta research first and look for the details such whitepaper by this will really a lp you to avoid being scam

Most of the investors just investing without appropiate research about the project they were investing that is why there are lot of scam projects were created in the recent days and make bad impression about the crypto field but the problem is with the people who are allowing themselves to be used by scammers,so learn about the field before investing anything.

The OP is 100% correct. Lots of us are investing money on ICO or select bounty to do just by looking at the hype score or the scores given by the rating sites to the project. But that is not accurate all the time. Doing our own research will save our money and time.

There's none even in other venue of investment, we can't assured anything since it's a risk that we will going to take,what is good from this investment we do have several resources that we can use basing our decisions we can lessen the risk by doing some good research and learned more about any project that we will going to invest.

I fully agree we should not pay attention to public opinion and not follow the herd, think for yourself and develop your strategy in choosing ICO as for Bounty and for investment. One of the key decisions in the development of the common market of cryptocurrency is to ignore the scams and invest in really working projects.

Yes there are scams but there are scams everywhere in the crypto world unfortunately, scammers are not only in the ICO space.
