Hi bitcointalk!

This is my first post ever on this forum! I do follow the crypto market for a couple of months now and I think the moment has come to invest in it. I'm actually hoping for another leg down first and then go for it but I'm suddenly not sure anymore this is going to happen.

I'm going to invest 10000€. My heart says; go all inn in Stratis, forget about a year, then look back and instantly recieving a big smile on the face.

But I know a lot are not going to advice this, putting all the eggs in one basket SO that's why I'm here, and asking for some advice.

Should I follow my heart and just go for it? Or should I just stick to bitcoin only? Or diversify in multiple coins like most of you do?

Glad to hear some opinions and how you men and ladies are doing this?

Crypto is IMO just at the beginning... This is going be so big in a couple of years.. I had the feeling a couple months ago I missed this great opportunity but nahh..

Looking forward to some suggestions!

Peace

I would not go personally all in. Stratis is being praised here and there by about anyone but frankly I have no idea of what it is. My personal advice would be for you to buy at least four different crypto-currencies, if possible not too close from each other. Also, I have the feeling, but that may be just my personal belief and it could not be true, that any major crypto-currency will increase in value in the coming years, so you could go for about anything.

Stratis attempts to do what Ethereum does but in a better way, isolating the stuff in sidechains to avoid clusterfucks like the ICO ETH stuff that clutters the ETH network and causes big disturbance in the speed and fees and also exchanges see themselves forced to avoid all trades. It's also backed by Bitcoin Core's code.

Let's see if they can deliver on their promises, maybe in the long term it has a shoot to defeat ETH.

I would still recommend keeping 1/3 in Bitcoin, just to profit from a possible hard fork if it might happen.

I would consider keeping a large chunk of it as BTC, and spreading the rest to a few altcoins that look like they have a solid project behind them. You can go all in on one altcoin and hope if you like, but only if you are open to the possibility of losing it all. Depends how much you want to gamble.

5000 komodo
5000 decent

I agree with you that Komodo really has a big potential, but however Decent leaves me a bit more skeptical...

I would invest 50% in large caps (>100m), 30% in mid caps (25-100m) and 20% in small caps (<25m).
This way you have some of the big players and some high potentials in your portfolio for a good risk vs. reward mix.
Choose for each section 2-3 coins which YOU like best (not someone else told you to buy).

You should divide your investment in some crypto.

I should invest like this 10K $

4000 $ ---> ETH - Ethereum / invest after in other currencies
2000 $ ---> STRAT - Stratis
2000 $ ---> XVG - Verge
1000 $ ---> BNT - Bancor
1000 $   ---> PAY - Tenx or (high risk) MCO - Monaco

This is a way to get a BIG ROI from your long-term investment.

Funfair and Civic

I won't bother to explain why because if you look them up it should be clear to any rational mind why these will yield high results.

You should look for somes coins that have real projects like Casino ICO or anything else that is real, those coins have potential to grow up in long term.

Monero - 40%
Waves - 30%
Stratis - 30%

In next 6 months I see Monero at 70$+ Waves 10$+ Stratis 10-15$ or more.
But being crypto you can never be sure, so If 1 or 2 of them don't move you still not loose money.

Stratis is probably good decision, as you can see only good news coming from this team. Price recovering very fast and will hold during next "crisis". Else i would invest in coins which can provide anonymity such as Cloak, Nav, Dash, Monero..ZEN probably will be next good surprise in coming months, so consider this one as good opportunity while price is still low.
