I think investing all your savings is not good idea. I suggest you that only invest 30-40% of your savings. Holding bitcoin, etherium and litecoin are all good for longterm investment because they have a high potential.

A good choice. I believe that it is better to earn a little less (compared to small altcoins, where you can make good X), but at the same time minimize your risks. Bitcoin, etherium, altcoin are time-tested coins.
Well it is really okay to invest all your savings, but my advice is invest it on the best cryptocurrency and that is bitcoin, it can really help you to double the money you invest on bitcoin, and you can also invest your savings on some altcoin just like investing it on ethereum and litecoin.

I don't think this one will be a wise decision. You should start with small amount first before risking all of your savings. I think you must look first on how and where you will earn profits the most before deciding to invest all. In that way, you will be able to avoid thr chance of lossing everything you have in just one blow and one shot.
Well, the more risk you take, the more money you may have. Learn how to accept risk and loss and you will become greater. Many people have fail before they do really earn a great amount of money. You need to lose money for a few time so that you will have the experience to earn the money. Investing all of his savings, in my opinion, is a great idea

Don't invest all of your savinh i suggest that you keep the 50% of your saving first and then buy 20% for btc since it has the highest price in the market and most probably will give you more profit 15% for both eth and litecoin. It is good to invest in different coins but don't go all in first just try first a little investment and when you are used to it and learn everything about investing in crypto then go for all in investment
Your opinion is very good but at this point your answer is no help to the questioner anymore. I think they have decided. But in my opinion, we should not invest in Bitcoin. We should invest in ETH, Litecoin, Ripple .... etc. These coins have high potential in the future, they can pass BTC...

Diversifying your holdings among top 50 cryptocurrencies will give you more chance to survive under bad market condiitons like panic selling by big players. Investing whole savings account to cryptos is not smart way to retire early but you still have a chance to laugh on  this posts one day in some point of world Wink

You should not invest all your saving. Maximum 70% your saving is my advice. After that, BCH, BTC and ETH are my choices for you.
I will not advise the same because relying on altcoins for your savings is never a good idea specially once they have never been able to show the normalcy in their values. Bitcoin, if compared with any other currency in terms of stability, will win because by far bitcoin is most stable currency of the crypto market. You can switch to them for sometimes, but keep maximum in the bitcoin because it will slowly grow but will definitely grow and in case of dropping, it never drops too much suddenly and you will have the chance to withdraw your amount.

For me, investing all your savings to 3 cryptocurrencies you have mentioned is not really good idea. Why? because you cannot say what will happen the following days or months if the prices will either go up or down. It is very risky and the rates are flactuating. Also, what if something emergency that might happen in few days or months with your own personal life. Be proactive about uncertainties.

You're right investing all your savings in cryptocurrency is too risky. Don't ever do that because there are more possibly will happen to the next 5-10 years either bad or good news. I know being negative thinker is not good for the business but sometimes it could help us to make a better decision in life.

Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I think it's a good start though I just have 3 points for your consideration:
1. don't invest ALL your savings, save some for a rainy day. Maybe start with $5000 instead.
2. consider allocating higher % to bitcoin (60-80%)
3. consider allocating into 1 or 2 more altcoins in different verticals (e.g. anonymous coins such as xmr or zec)

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p
You should not invest all your savings in cryptocurrency because in the crypto world the price is uncertain, if you lose then all your savings will run out in quick time ..
so I think you better use some of your savings for investment and some more to save savings ..

Investing is always good. however if you invest them to some thing that you can not exchange to cash easily you shouldnt invest all of your money. for example it is ridiculous to invest in crypto market or real estate with all money.
That is not really necessary, there are a lot of investment and we have one purpose only which is to grow our investment.
Even in banks, some people put their money in time deposit with an interest over an agreed terms but it does not mean they cannot spend for their
needs because they only put a portion of their money and that is something out of the daily budget, so in short it's the same
in investing in crypto or other investments.
In addition, you can just withdraw anytime if you need money. You know, Bitcoin is all about freedom over your financial management. Unlike bank, in Bitcoin the returns are high but risky due to its volatility but if we're looking for a long term investment then you surely would profit.

Really is risky to invest all your savings because in investments, there is a chance for you to lose your money. Your saving should be there to help in times of emergencies or when you don't have any last resort. Once there comes a time when you would need to have extra cash, this is when you use up your savings. If you use it all up on investment, you may get in trouble once a time of need arises.

Many new investors can not understand that saving money and investing money is totally different things. They have different motives, and play different roles in your financial strategy and your balance sheet. Before building wealth and before you begin your journey before independence, be sure to believe this basic concept, because it can protect you from much pain and stress.
I have witnessed for the first time and have talked with a lot of people, who have lost everything despite having excellent portfolio because they do not appreciate the cash roles in their portfolios. Cash honor honor The cash goal does not always generate a return for you.
Perhaps the best place to start will make the difference between savings and investments clear for you, to explain both the concepts.
Because banks manipulate their thinking, banks kept saying to people to open account for them to invest their money where in they can earn money, without thinking that the money that you will save will put by the bank in a financial institution so that the bank can earn and would just give a bit to the depositor.

For me, its a really good idea. It’s better to invest in crypto currencies than to deposit into bank accounts. I know it’s risky but you really need to be smart and buy in a right time. Holding in 5-10 years, maybe your savings will be much more and profitable than you expect.
Never ever invest all your money and earn passive income with it, you don't know what accident might happen in the future and you don't know if there is a disaster coming, just a real talk, investing all your savings has never been a good idea even if you ask many financial advisers and professionals.

I had one different plan set for your investment .It will help you to free from loss.
Bitcoin -40%
Ethereum-30%
Litecoin-30%

The investment in Ethereum and Litecoin is only for the long term profit. The investment in bitcoin can be used for short term profit.
