We have all different opinion about this topic. For me if you can afford to lose all your savings to invest in bitcoin and other altcoins, why not take a risk. Who knows bitcoin and other altcoins will be more demand on the future, and maybe your capital will get double.

The ratio how you've split the funds among cryptocurrencies is good. Still I wouldn't invest all my saving in anything not just in cryptocurrencies. No matter how the situation is looking good and attractive and the price is high this can change and will change at some point so it's too risky to spend all your saving. Reconsider your decision one more time and maybe consult somebody that is maybe more experienced with cryptocurrency investing.

for me investing all your money in bitcoin is not good idea...its take a risky decission, much better that you save in a bank rather than you invest...because if invest its a chance to loss your invest so its better that you save in the bank so your  money have a interest...

Doing investment  is a little bit risky specially when you put all of your investment in a single path. It is much better to scattered it in different investments.  We never know the future and what will happen after we invest.  So it will help to minimize the loss if you invest a part of your money and do not put all of your savings in one field.

This is true, if an event happens to affect all your branch of investments you are basically screwed that is why you should invest in different technologies though

I think do not invest all your savings,we are not sure in every flactuations of price be sure you have your savings in case when the price crashed down.Learn some techniques in trading to make all your coins profitable. Before you invest it all atleast you have idea of what you are going to do with it.
Its a suicide move to invest all your money in bitcoin or in altcoin because crypto is so volatile what if the major event that you bought at the peak price example was at 20k usd of bitcoin and suddenly it drops as we are on here the current price that was a totally big loss after all and when you need your money you can get oit because its loss.

It is never practical to put all the eggs you gathered in one basket alone.
What I mean is that, for every savings or money you have, never ever invest it in one thing alone. Be wise and mindful that at least you have those plan B to plan Z if problem arise in one of your investments especially on bitcoin. It is right that we have to watch over its volatility.

Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Sorry for my bad english, but I am better reading it than writing it.. :p

I am still new here,  my knowledge is not yet enough to know if that is correct  and right way to invest.  But for me,  i will not put my money in trading,  i will keep the 50% for emergency purposes and for my family.
I think that was really a good strategy. We don't have to put all our savings on trading, because everything in trading is unpredictable and we can't really predict the outcome of our investment or the amount that we are going to trade. So then I believe that the best thing to do is to spend halfway of our investment to less our risk on the trading feild. However everything is also depending on your trust and patience on the bitcoin feild, Maybe we can gain a lot of we do such thing with great patience.
All you said is a prediction or speculations that we can't rely on to invest all you money. The riskiest part is you can't pullout the money if it loss and all your savings will only flew in some peoples hand. Any billionaire will not advice to do this things in a proper way of investing the money.

It is not good if you invest all your savings but you split your savings for investment that was good because if you invest all you savings and your investment was getting loss you have now zero capital for next investment.

This is not a good idea. Its very much risky to invest all savings in Crypto currency. Its better to diversify your money in different investment. Do not trading or any invest with in emotions. I think its idea not only for crypto currency, it also essential for every online or offline Investment. Anything will be happen.  So Always need to observation before the invest.

I think investing all your savings in crypto is not good because crypto is risky. If you are beginner in trading I suggest you to start first at small. Only invest what you are willing to lose.
What you say is correct, crypto has certain risks, if we put all the savings into it, our money will always be in a dangerous state, and the loss will be great, many people will not be able to bear this loss and go to negative thoughts, maybe they will end their life. So, as you say, starting with a small amount of capital, when we have had enough experience, greater investment but never should be all, that will help us not fall into the worst situation when we fail, and we will still have money to start rebuilding
Money can get again but our life just have one Grin. Really stupid if I want to kill my life because I do not have money or too much debt. These things are not difficult than kill myself. I can do anything to keep my life as long as I can.

My strategy for investment is to invest 70% in bitcoin while 20 % in Ethereum and the rest in lite coin because these are good to me and i love to hold these for this i have done many jobs to earn Ether and litecoin so it is good for the crypto users that to invest our savings in crypto and bitcoin is good for the future because many online stores are accepting bitcoin for their payments. The good investors beside the price effectiveness they would like to invest in the crypto and they wait for the better time in future.

you  have a good choice of coins and if your investment is 5-10 years this would be quite enough long to make your coins price surge over time.this your coins would show overwhelm performance year on year despite lot of  chews are brewing inside

If you have a very strong heart and if this money is something you can manage or afford to loose as well, then why not. Go and invest the way you want the split. But if you can't afford to invest all your savings, then don't do it. Just invest on something that your can afford to loose.

Investing all the funds which you have in one sector is not advisable your plan of split investment is good but not in crypto is advisable so you should look for other sectors like real estate, trading etc.
Although your suggestion is right thus, it is not the main problem. Investing all your savings can make your life poor frankly, that will going to happen if you did not correct the way you invest. Savings is the most important in holding and having money in this world it will be your friend in times that you are badly needed. Investment risk to lose your money is just a matter of hours or a day.

Investing in crypto is good idea but if you are trying to invest all your savings sorry dude my answer is no, you dont need to put all your saving. Here some simple knowledge about to invest 50% is enough 70% is better 100% is too much. Ťhink twice before investing, so you wont regret it in the end.
