There is not only scams with btc! Btc is also used as a good currency, you can't judge it with this old view.

Btc has some decent value now. It's also in the heart of some good digital innovation.

Keep holding is not a good thing if you are venturing in bitcoin, the price is fluctuative and you could lose half of it in one day. Unless you believe in the long term of bitcoin and isnt in need of any money for the short term then keep holding could be a good option. I'd personally much rather not hold it forever especially when the price is getting lower
