The top casinos in the industry are not offering this even if one casino is offering to invest in their bankroll you should still check their profitability and reputation in the industry, don't invest for the sake of investing, you mentioned Bitvest, which is still good but activity is not good, but once they continue their campaign here in Bitcointalk activity could pick up again.

Instead of investing in casino bankroll I recommend investing in casino tokens that you can stake, Rollbit or Fun token, or BFG I'm doing good staking BFG and I got daily rewards and I'm looking to add more.

I remember the days when online crypto gambling sites offered us the option to invest directly into their bankroll (like the one in my sig).

I didn't know casinos allowed people to invest into their bankroll.
The casino in your sig is crypto games. Did you invest in their bankroll at the time they had the option?
How is one able to tell if they have this type of option. I have read through the FAQ on some casinos which is where I thought this option would be but I didn't find anything about investing into their bankroll.

Depends on the casino and the money you are putting in. I personally believe that considering the small amount of capital that I have, just invested into bitcoin and that's it would be enough for me, because I already have not so much and even if I put the whole thing in, I am risking way too much for not that much of a return.

However, if there is a great casino that you trust a lot and assume that you have enough money that you could invest in other things as well as into this, then yeah this could be a diversification that you could use. It has to be a great casino and you have to make sure that you could stay for too long because there could be moments when gamblers could win, so you need to be able to wait a long time for it to recover.

I do not value and accept investing in any casino bankroll because investing in casino bankrolls is very risky. If someone needs to invest in bitcoins, keep the investment in your own wallet, even if there is no additional income, your investment will be very safe. Casino platform can cheat people anytime if cheat once then all your money will be destroyed. So earn less without demanding more and still be safe. Casino platform scams are constantly being created so stay away from all these extra income and stay safe.

Hahaha the good old days frennn I actually remember back in 2015 there is a site that you can invest directly to their bankroll and it called bitdice.me if I don't mistaken and the APY is around 10% but it is not fixed and can change almost every day.

Same as you today site is not offering us to invest directly to their site it simply because they didn't need our money I believe. The only site that I know is bitvest and moneypot but moneypot is already merged with bustabit so only Bitvest that left and maybe in the future they are gonna closer their investment since I just saw their cold wallet with bunch of BTC ETH and LTC so maybe they didn't need investor in the future

Yes, investing in casino still exist and runs but we may don't knows if that is worth to do or that will not gives profit to us. We can try to knows about that but if you really wants to try, you needs to use the money you can afford because we don't knows if that way still works or not. Bitvest is one of the site that still runs investing programs until now but I don't knows much about the programs. Maybe you can try by yourself so you will knows the results.

I recommend you to keeps your bitcoin in your wallet and waiting for the bull run comes. We may see bull run happens after halving or in the next months so it's better we prepare our bitcoin to sell at the high price. We can only suggest you to be careful if you really wants to try to invest your bitcoin in a casino.

Investing a an online casino's bankroll is risk and the answer to whether it is still worth investing in their bankroll depends on how much risk you can carry.

I do not actively invest. You will find this very old thread but interesting one of the users recorded their monthly returns for a year after investing 5 bitcoins in 5 gambling sites namely BetKing, MoneyPots, SafeDice, Crypto-Games, Satoshi Dice. After some months, they added Bitvest, KingDice.

One DarkStar_ also invested in bustadice and bustabit.

I know its old but you should check them out

Yes. Investors did make a lot back then when crypto gambling sites allowed bankroll investments. The one under my sig was the most profitable. Unfortunately, it no longer provides us the option to invest in its bankroll. I believe the main reason why most gambling sites stopped doing this was because of strict government regulations. They're afraid to get "flagged" by the government once they allow bankroll investments without KYC.

I dunno. I guess we'd have to find other options to grow our BTC. I've read Freebitco.in is giving around 4% APR for Bitcoin deposits. It's not a gambling site, though. Sad

I miss the days when Crypto Games ran its own investment scheme, I managed to strike up 50% returns in a year over there. It was soon shut down while the site continues to grow and operate on a large scale.

We recently had a thread discussing the similar topic, it seems sites are less inclined to accept public investments anymore since crypto has gradually become mainstream and owners no longer find it difficult to raise money for bankrolls.

Check out mindrust's topic here for detailed analysis of some investment schemes currently running -

[GUIDE] Best Crypto Investment Opportunities for Passive Income -2024

Me too. I often saw the opportunity to invest directly into Crypto Games' bankroll, but was hesistant to do so out of fear from getting scammed. I was just getting started in the world of crypto and didn't know much back then. As a result of getting ripped off from cloud mining programs, I was skeptical about investing in a crypto casino's bankroll. Totally regret not doing the right thing in the first place.

Nowadays, it's hard find a gambling site which allows us to invest into its bankroll. I feel obliged to look for other options.

If you can't find a reputable casino that offers investing on bankroll then it's not worth looking, casinos do not want to offer this and they want to gain all the profits instead of sharing it with investors.

I noticed that Bitvest stopped their signature campaign but they are still one of the longest-running casinos, if there's no one offering then you may want to try Bitvest to test their profitability.

If you find one through a recommendation on this topic, you should consider reputation over profitability before investing.

I can't say in particular, and offers like this are now becoming once in a while. Initially, let me believe that those who wanted to start online gambling businesses, especially the casino type that had little amount of money and tried in their best in a way to raise more funds by offering such opportunities in the form of a light partnership. But these days, the eyes of the big guys have opened to the opportunities in online and crypto gambling, they are well prepared and moving in their big money capable enough to settle all their needs and liabilities. This is a good way to help them totally keep the money made and not share it with anyone in the form of traditional shares.

Just be careful in your search for this so that you will not be a victim of worthless casinos. I believe the good and well-established ones must have had enough money to keep things going without needing external investment these days.

When life gets hard BUY Bitcoin!
especially in something as volatile as online gambling bankrolls.

Can you explain how come a bankroll investment is volatile while it doesn’t change the value of your investment much since casino has small chance of losing compared of winning due to house edge.

Bitcoin investment is more volatile than casino bankroll if we just rely on the probability of winning of the house against players. It’s not volatile but it contains risk that casino might hold your assets and don’t pay you. But in terms of volatility, Casino bankroll investment is one of the safest investments in terms of profit because it provides passive income from casino profit assuming that the casino will not run during your investment period.

I am not so familiar with investing into the online casino sector. When we give money into the casino bankroll, does this mean we are actually buying a part of the casino or is it just a loan with a fixed interest rate? Purchasing equity stakes of casinos seems like a great investment, because we are going to profit from all the future returns the casino makes. As for giving loans to the casino I am a bit more sceptical. Interest rates are quite high at the moment and we can make almost risk free returns when buying high rated corporate debt. I would probably look at the bond markets first and see how much money I can make with almost no risk. The only problem is I would need to sell my bitcoin and buy bonds in USD or Euros.

The first decentralized crypto betting platform
I invested in casino bankrolls in the past but nowadays, apart from the fact that the possibility of doing so has been reduced, I wouldn't do it because you end up losing control of your bitcoins, with the possibility of being scammed or something, and all it is for a little more profitability. After years of doing this I think it's crucial to manage your bitcoins with your private keys, although if someone is thinking of doing it with a small part of what they have it's OK IMO.

It used to be more common, as you mentioned, but these days, its less frequent, likely due to regulatory and operational complexities.

Before making any decisions, Id definitely recommend doing a deep dive into any platform's financial health, transparency, and track record. Also, consider diversifying your investments rather than putting all your eggs in one basket, especially in something as volatile as online gambling bankrolls.

When it comes to risks then CEX does have;
1. Legal issues
2. Possible hack
3. Scam exchange

Gambling casino
1. Big whale wins
2. Hack
3. Scam site
Casinos also have legal issues, they can restrict any jurisdictions based on licenses and gambling providers decision.

Casinos could be accused as mixer or money launder, the government can seize the sites.

Casinos are easier to run away, unlike centralized exchanges where people already know the founder, if the founder scams or doing illegal thing, he might go to jail i.e. Sam Bankman.

Profit wise specially on monthly or yearly basis, i would really say that holding your coin into your own wallet would really be that more worth thant
with these kind of offerings.
Some people choose to use money that they can afford to lose to earn more than completely hold 100%.

Its really just that equal i should say. When it comes to risks then its normal when doing up some investment.
Majority of sites now or gambling sites doesnt ask out any investment now since they could already have their own.
In the past there were actually sites that do allow investment, i dont know if its still available now or not.

The only difference is you are not investing on the CEX itself while you are investing on the casino when you put your money in there.

The risk factor that you mention especially legal issues is common for both casino and exchange since they have license to operate. Casino is just not hot in the eye of regulators because the money involved is much lower compared to CEX.

But in terms of risk, it really depends on the company we are comparing since its trust basis. For example, I’d rather put my money on casino like Stake rather than shit CEX that has very low trading volume.

Based on the question that I highlighted, in my opinion, I will not risk my Bitcoin to nvest in any bankroll but rather prefer to hold it in my cold storage and patiently wait till it generates some profit for me. We know the risk that comes with investing our Bitcoin in third-party companies.
Leaving our bitcoin as an investment in any casino bankroll is as similar as leaving our coins in a centralized exchange platform which many bitcoiners condemn, so why will Same people not think in that direction with casino bankroll. Could it be that they have been  consumed with gamble not to think so.

There are a multiple of what if (risks) that's to be considered before going into bankroll, one of which is, Just like CEX, what if the casino got hacked and suffered from a huge financial loss, then couldn't survive the financial damage and it has to fold down.

Bitcoin makes the world go 🔃

When a casino doesn't have funds and asks investors for funds for their bankroll, potential investors will have doubts that the casino might flip and scam. I think the casino should be backed by companies already rather than allowing bankroll investors, it leaves the doubt. I have not seen any casino these days

Several casino tokens were launched a few years ago but these days they are slowly dying as well. The ones that were promoted here I think it's just BFG that lasts.

This one of the correct potential interpretation on why casino ask for bankroll. But some casino usually ask for bankroll investment for the sake of profit sharing so that players will be involved on the casino once they are invested. Casino like crypto.games is a long running casino that do bankroll investment but still considered as trusted casino because of their service length.

I believe your opinion is only applicable to those new casino that doesn’t have any loyal customers but not for those old casino that already have established reputation since they already have brand to protect.

It's not safe to invest in casino bankroll because you can't tell which one will survive
While this is a real concern but there have been a few of them that have proved themselves to be reputable and still standing well and provided their investors with a return. No idea if they're decent but if it's about safety, that few have survived with all the calls of the market and as well as fluctuation of their customers, winners and losers.

look around you, money is slowly going into artificial intelligence, and in the next few years technology will take over, this is no doubt where the biggest money is heading, why no place yoit risks on such? AI companies will be the world leaders tomorrow not gambling.
It's another place to invest but for someone who likes to diversify and still sees that he's willing to take the risk of investing to reputable casinos through their bankroll investments, they can't be stopped.

While you're giving the idea of AI, they're oranges and apples to compared with.

I don't think something like this actually exist as before, because now the gamblers who may be willing on making an investment into the gambling platform would also be interested in gambling, so what he would rather choose was to make a deposit and use the fund to the satisfaction of his desire with gambling, because he also want to gamble and have fun, especially now that we have online crypto gambling casinos everywhere to use, and if at all he wishes to invest as well, he would rather choose a cryptocurrency coin and invest by himself then hold.

They actually do exists.

With just a google search you will find some numbers of casino bankrolls you can invest on, but I  don't like the idea or maybe I lack some knowledge about it.

To make an insane amount of money from crypto you need to be early, this is the ultimate trick of getting rich with crypto, but it is not the same with stocks, they take a long of time to even appreciate in value and that's if the company survives and succeed.

I would rather invest in Bitcoin and maybe a few percentage of my money in one or two casino tokens, an easy way of making money, once Bitcoin reaches a new ATH it's a good time to start taking profits, and generally, all good and bad coins that survived the bear market will take a run anyway.
