Hi Guys i am planning to buy Bitcoin and few altcoins for long term holding. I want to hold at least two altcoins from my list. Can you guys suggest me it is safe to buy below altcoin for long term holding? Which Altcoin is your favourite and currently holding??

My Altcoins list: Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Zcash, Dash and Monero

Privacy coins are being delisted from exchanges. I sold my XMR for 0xMR, it can't be tracked, blacklisted, or delisted.

That is true, recently most privacy coins are starting to be delisted in some exchanges which will affect it's price. There are new coins and moat are from DeFi projects that already reached the top 100 in market cap, but I wonder if they could keep it up in the long-run since most DeFi projects get pumped and dumped. I usually read news and updates about crypto before investing in any coins since this can be a good criterion if ever it is worth to invest in it or not. Ethereum is still a good choice aside from its expensive transaction fee issues, especially when the network is clogged.

i also think that interesting defi also good for long term hodling; what's the project xsigma? can you share any link or something about this ?
DeFi doesn't look attractive for a long-term ride, because after last year's hype, DeFi is now considered a casual project, even though last year there were several successful projects through DeFi.

Based on past price developments until now, I prefer Bitcoin and Ethereum. Indeed, at the beginning of 2018 to 2019 the price was disappointing. but if you want to be patient until now you will definitely have made a big profit.  Sorry my friend i cant suggest altcoin for your longterm plan.

Before investing, you must consider the risks that will occur in the future, especially if you say you want to invest for the long term. As we have seen, entering the year 2021 we are surprised by two big news that hit the top coins, the first was the RIPPLE which experienced a very significant price decline, the second happened to DASH, ZEC and XMR to be removed on the bittrex exchange. It looks like a lawsuit from the SEC will partially destroy the crypto industry, So you need to do some deep research before investing.

It just feels like most times, it is good to just stick to few altcoins for long term and others for just short term, when I say short term I refer to Ethereum or Litecoin and when I say short term I refer to the whole lot in the crypto space. Now looking at a case scenario, XRP is facing a serious issue with SEC which no one knows what the outcome will be and on the other hand, many privacy coins are facing delisting from exchanges thus making their future somewhat uncertain. So to be sincere, if you want to consider holding for long term, then stick to Ethereum, at least to a great extent it has proven to be a decentralized and transparent platform. If you want to go for more, then take a look at Litecoin as well.

While investing in altcoins, you should be aware of the regulatory hurdles as well. XRP is now worthless because of the SEC ruling that it should be considered as a security. Many of the anonymous coins such as Monero and Dash are getting delisted from the majority of the exchanges, due to regulatory pressure. So before making your investment, you need to see how much risk is there for something similar happening with your coin.

Monero and other privacy coins is kinda unstable right now about how the government trying many ways to trace the blockchain and how it could impact in the long run by the government making an action into making the exchanges delisting all these privacy coins which in turn also means that it closed that coin from the opportunity of a wider captialization, ETH still the best choice I guess but BTC more preferable.

I would go for bitcoin and ethereum. Its better to buy at low value so you'll be confident to hold them for long term. You can accumulate xrp and ADA too.

I would say that the best ones right now in my portfolio has been bitcoin, ethereum, cardano, binance, eos and tezos.
These are the ones that I prefer myself and I like it very much as well.

Obviously that doesn't mean that they are the only ones, for example I even have wave as well but I didn't list it, why?

Because I wasn't sure about suggesting it and didn't write there, that means even if I personally myself have coins that I do invest but do not suggest, there are tens of coins that could be suggested and I wouldn't really have anything against them neither, so at the end of the day that is just my list.

I can't guarantee any money at all to people who invest into my list, I personally made good amount of money from them and lost some of that back as well, overall in profit probably.

Bitcoin is really for hodling coin. If you cannot afford to watch all of your assets everyday, this is the best coin to hodl. In fact, even you are a day trader, you should always have this because anytime, it may fluctuate. Unlike with altcoins, sometimes it goes up fastly because of the news and there are times that it moves down. In my opinion, if you want to trade you should be a full time trader so that you can watch out your coins anytime. In fact, trading is more profitable than a stable job.
A trader will definitely have time to check coins at any time because that is what they are looking for to see better movements, traders will always monitor on the sidelines, therefore daily traders will definitely spend time watching the movements of the coins or altcoins that they are looking for in its benefits.

If you stick to bitcoin then you don't need to just wait for a big pump or news that can cause a volatile market then you need to look and consider selling or buying.

You will need to always look at your altcoins bag always because they can surge anytime, don't keep them in your wallet for years without checking on them, it's risky, Bitcoin is the only coin I can keep for long term without looking back

Storing any cryptocurrency, including bitcoin, does not guarantee that your capital will increase over time. It is necessary to regularly monitor price changes in the cryptocurrency market in order to sell or buy cryptocurrency on time. But if you don't have time to do this, then the best solution should be bitcoin.
I agree with your opinion.

Top altcoins are the best for long term hold, of course if you can spot good new altcoins they will bring you better profits over the top altcoins but they are very risky, you need to know how to do better analysis on projects very well
I disagree that top altcoins are good for long term holding. now I can be sure for 100% that BTC is good for the long term, but altcoins now better to trade short term or middle term

There is no debate that the best altcoins for long term holding would be Ethereum. The rest of your list is so-so, I recommend you do a research on Chain Link as an alternative to your list.
and from what point of view your judgement comes from though. yes ethereum gives good profit in the long run if the developers faithfully keep updating their project but other coin gives similar results in term of ROI. it's just we need to be smart when choosing a coin.

Don't focus too much on anonymous altcoins, the best of its time is over and I believe its price will not go up too much in the future. Just focusing on BNB and ETH is enough for altcoin

long term and of course want to get big profits better to choose a coin that is not popular but the development is always good besides that the project owner cares about the coins that the  has, I see TT is very feasible for long-term investment because of low prices and always good development
