I am happy to report that I have now received the BTC we had deposited at GLBSE Smiley

Great news!

So, how are things looking now regarding a payout?
We currently have about 450 Bitcoins in total liquid BTC,
The rest is in debt or illiquid assets.
//DeaDTerra

Will you be using that 450 in the bot for now?
I will spread it out across the margin bots and arbitrage bot until we reach a more substantial amount.
//DeaDTerra
Yes very good news indeed! Is there any risk of loss here or counterparty risk? I would suggest that we try to preserve what capital we have and use it for paying people back rather than engaging in additional speculative risks at this time. Smiley
There is three risks here,
There's the risk of the operator of the bot running away with the money, I have known him for one and a half years now and we started the bot way before we had any real amount of money in it, plus I meet him in London and know all his ID details Smiley So this risk should be pretty low.
Then there's the risk of a exchange shutting down and running away with our capital, I mean this risk is hard to judge but we trade at MTGox and Bitstamp atm, I know the owners of BitStamp and I trust that if MTGox goes away we have bigger problems to worry about xD
Then there's the risk of the bot running hay wire and losing coins that way, but the bot has been running for half a year and no problems so far, we have manual monitoring of the bot and we have limited trades to limit the damage any potential bug could cause.

I think the profit is worth the risk non the less.

Thats no different than me trusting nefario because Ive known him for like two years, and then his actions destroyed DMC. Not saying your guy will, but watch out.
Indeed, which is why I am saying it's a risk non the less and that everyone should be aware of that.

Thanks for the update.  I knew (hoped) there was a reason for me not yet posting the "AAAAAND IT'S.... GONE" meme here.

I have to state that it's on the selllers of these accounts to inform the new owner of the rules and under what conditions these accounts are sold.
The balance is not guaranteed, please make this clear. I don't want someone to feel fooled if the balance end up less then the amount stated.
//DeaDTerra

Updated to reflected that. Thanks for offering this DeaD Smiley If they don't sell they don't sell, and I'm fine with that. But it's nice to have the option so that I can resume business Smiley
Thank you Smiley
No problems, I am not the one to deny a free market Tongue

Selling account 117 for 400BTC. Current balance is 468BTC.

Note that the 468 balance may change from what is stated, as the fund value swings either up or down. So the amount received could be more or less.

I got a question about selling GBF accounts/debts, I am all for this and if you would rather sell of your account then wait for the liquidation then I can just rewrite the balance over to someone else, that's fine as long as you clearly state under what conditions GBF is closing and liquidating Smiley
//DeaDTerra

I'm sorry, but I don't understand this.

Are you saying that you will buy back my GBF account?

If that is so, then I would be really happy to get the balance when you closed the GBF on 02 October 2012- 75% of the sum I "invested" with you.

I'm pretty sure this isn't what you are offering, though.
No, he means if you find someone who is willing to buy your account (at a discount). Then you can transfer the ownership to someone else and DT will pay that person instead.
That is indeed correct,I don't have the personal means to buy any, but I am not going to stop the free market from buying the risk of the liquidation of your accounts.
Please state though that the balance is not guaranteed, it's not like a pirate account where 100 BTC is a 100 BTC, it's all relative to the amount paid out.
