Bump. Still waiting for a deal.

Do you have any talents?
What I mean is... can you build a website, create a token? create a wallet? develop anything crypto related?

Perhaps offering some kind of service in lieu of upfront payment to you may help a) get funds now and b) keep your account in tact and c) lender gets some work done.

Did you even bother reading the thread? He wants someone to refinance sweeet's outstanding loan with him, it has nothing to do with him offering services for money or whatever and if he was that desperate for money he would definitely have tried that as well.

So the investor of this loan essentially takes on the risk that Sweeet will default but also gets the reward if he repays.

Your suggestion also means that it's not even a loan. It's just offering a service...

Exactly, glad you can keep up.
Yes I read the OP thread completely.

Sweet has outstanding loan with him.
Sweet isn't paying yet for whatever reason.
OP wants someone to pay him out X now, and become the holder of the debt, as he is in a pickle (some form of desperation?)

So my point is, rather than someone taking on a debt that is a third party unrelated debt, with no defined link to lender number 2, if he is desperate for the payment now, then offering a service may be useful to him if someone is willing to pay X upfront in advance.

That way, he can keep his debt with Sweet (it will be kept status quo either way unless sweet agrees to lender change?) and also he gets whatever he needs now by completing some task or the like.

Its simple mathematics along with "thinking outside the square" attitude.

I doubt one will take on the Sweet debt, hence my alternative thought.

BTC or BUST

Hi
My btc with Sweeet is not locked in usd. I am owed 0.06. Now I have asked for 0.046, that leaves 0.014 (~270 USD). If my repayment amount is in BTC, why would I be paid 0.12 if the value halved? 0.06, that is all.

Verified..
I will further consider your offer when I have free time to do so..

Isn't sweeet's debt pegged in USD?

Hi Sweet
In response to your message, I would like my layout in BTC as USD is not my native currency. No rush, but do you have any idea of when I will be receiving my funds back? I'm on edge a little haha.
Thanks for keeping us updated.
Well its not like I'd be repaying you in USD just in BTC but the value of the Bitcoin is calculated from the USD value of bitcoin from the time of your transaction. So I would be repaying you in BTC but you would receive the same amount of USD value instead of BTC value. As of time of repayment I have no clue I am first repaying drunkenone then Taras then you.

How can you state the repayment amount from sweeet in terms of BTC....

I paid Sweeet 0.06, which is due to be returned to me at some unknown point.

Why don't I just tell Sweet I want my 0.06 now?
Because that's what everyone wants, and what everyone can't get at the moment.

What will I earn?
To get the repayment of my 0.06 stake directly from Sweeet, I ask to be paid 0.053. This is negotiable

If BTC could double tomorrow and then only be repaid half of the .6 BTC pegged to USD, or crash X4 tomorow and be repaid 4X in btc??

And..
If you agree to lock your BTC to the USD value at the time it was sent which is: $5341

Is that .06 BTC pegged at $5341 or is that $19,500 BTC?

Hmm..

If that .06 BTC is pegged at $5300 and now we are at $19,500 that's like ... 0.0163 BTC now for full repayment..

This MUST not be the case if you are stating a projected profit of $180 from buying this debt note at 0.05BTC

BUMP
Money is tight right now with christmas and I've got a nice shiny PC to build. Ill take 0.049, currently around a $180 profit for the loaner.
Thanks.

Sorry to ask these questions but i get a bit lost here.

1-You get the 0.53BTC that you ask or not?
2-If you get them, how your Lender will profit 180$?
3-If you don't get them, same question as above. How your Lender will profit 180$?
Short and sweet:
• The lender gives me 0.05
• If and when Sweet repays, which I genuinely believe is looking promising, they will pay it straigt to the person that gave me 0.05.

I can haggle because I need the money, but im not sure if it can be a lot.

Agreed. My advice would also be just waiting it out since the rewards for the lender is simply way too small for a big risk as both you and magneto pointed out. Even though you have every right to be doing this, and you've listed all the risks, i doubt anyone will be able to fill this investment/loan for you.

Even if Sweeet is legit there are factors out of his control that may affect his ability to repay.

But if you just decide to leave the thread up to see if there are any potential suitors, then go ahead. It doesn't bother me Smiley

The problem here is that youre asking for a loan for an investment that you may or may not get, or the lender may only get a fraction of whatever is owed. This is risky and honestly you took the risk when you invested into sweet. Any investment has its risk (and anyone saying its risk-free is full of themselves). I've dealt with sweet before and he came out fine in the end for me, however as bitcoin does rise at a very fast rate, it can cause some unexpected things to happen, not just with the coin itself but how other companies have to deal with users who deal with cryptocurrency, especially if youre using external accounts (eg bank accounts, paypal, etc).

I would honestly suggest waiting it out because I do not see any lender giving you a loan, especially for a small return for such a big risk. Lower the amount you are asking and someone might take you up on it, but dont count on it.

Good luck!

Basically this is refinancing sweeet's loan, correct? I don't think you'll get negative trust for this since you're the victim here.

The thing is that someone has to be willing to take on a huge risk for a measly 0.007 BTC return. I would not personally take this. Even the most trusted exchanges such as bitfinex and btc-e had issued IOU tokens traded for way less than $0.8 on the dollar. Plus you'd have to wait for an unspecified amount of time, something that people do not like.

For that reason if you want any chance of even getting any offers, lower your rates.

UPDATE: Sweet has consented to me making this deal

UPDATE: Sweet has posted about progress on repayments. Again, take it with a pinch of salt as always. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.25999131

Sweet may never pay her loans back - she is just a child.

Anyone who lends to you may never get their coin back from her.   Undecided
Yes, of course. This is why I've mentioned a few times that this is risky. Like I said, I personally trust I will get it back if I wait it out, I'm just not prepared to in my current situation.
The lender really needs to assess this for themselves. This is a risk like anything, but this is a complicated and needs looking at properly before any transactions are made. All I can say is that I have read that this has happened with Sweet before and they did pay their debts, but it was on a smaller scale.

I would be surprised if someone did fulfill this Vod  Wink
