Hey all!

Can we see IOTA reaching anywhere between $50 - $100 in future?

Only thing that concerns me is the market cap would be huge right!?

When will the coin fall in price ?? Who thinks what?

I'm going to honest with you. Technically the chart looks bullish. Iota hasn't even made ATHs vs. BTC

The vision behind the IOTA Foundation’s distributed ledger protocol, the Tangle, has always been twofold: unlimited scaling and zero fees. Using a unique, non-block based system, the Tangle promises to deliver just that. Since the listing on Bitfinex, the IOTA Foundation has seen incredible growth, both in the form of increases in value as well as striking up several significant research projects to put their tech to the test. Enter the Flash Network.

good news, sounds very promising

Does this mean flash is already running and active?

Why in the update we have to change the seed?
I like some investors buy iota think in the long term. What if we don't update the seed we can lose the IOTA?

This blog tells you why - https://blog.iota.org/upgrades-updates-d12145e381eb

Hard to say if you can lose your iotas, not enough info. Better to do as advized.

Folks, I don't know whether its just me or it has something with the current state of the network... so I thought I would ask here, maybe someone has a solution:

few days ago I initiated a transaction, and it never confirms... I keep rebroadcasting that, and reattaching too (5 times already), all the attempts are shown in history as "pending" (they also show up with considerable delay - like 10 minutes after reattaching complete), but none of them seems to confirm.

I am using the latest 2.4.0 light wallet and I have moved my IOTAs to new seed - btw moving also took awhile, but finally confirmed in 1 day after 3 re-attachings. But this new transaction does not..!

Am I missing anything, and is there anything I can do to, to help it confirm?
Thanks for your help!
Just try another seed (Tools--Edit node configuration), for example service.iotasupport.com, and reattach again.

Come from behyind, so you say that once all the upgrades are done we will be able to recover our iotas, even those who had iota stored in wallet 2.3 with old seed?
Can you please show me a link to where this announcement was made.We really need help because there are so many people having this old/new seed transition problem.
Thanks

The announcement wasn't made yet.

what kind of file and what programm were you using to edit the file?

Built-in- Windows text editor.

There still a good chance you can recover it if you copied the seed into the text file with the existing address. The only way is to determine the exact address so that you can separate the seed from it.

You can use http://iota.cool/ to view address details and then enter the leading characters (4 characters at least) inside the text file. It will be a trial and error because we don't know if you copied your seed from the beginning, middle or end part of the address.

Hmm, I don't understand you. Is the seed part of the adress??

Perhaps I wasn't fully clear. I had a usb-stick with a txt-file on it. The new seed which i generated for transition on another PC was saved in that text file. After i opened my IOTA light Client with the new seed I took a receiver address and overwrote the seed in that text file and saved it (to use it for withdrawing on another PC).

Recovering Tools didn't help until now Sad

if you have overwritten a file you could always try to use a tool to recover the data with a tool. becareufl which kind of tool you donwnload. often they are malware
