Interesting appeared information. I think that IOTA becomes more and more real project with great demand in the market

As it was talked, it became clear that David knew a remarkable amount of relevant project vision and had deep intuition about it.
His intuition was usually right on. IoT has bright future and it would become a new great bubble of economics.
C-f-B's ideas seemed occassionally to violate David's guidelines but, amazingly, another Serguey (Popov) almost always found a way to make them work scientifically. But C-f-B turned into reality David's and Serguey dream of brand new technology with foundation of real math science. Congrats to IOTA and it's supporters.

Happy Bday to Iota, although after 1 year it would be nice to have a working wallet/network and be able to buy on exchanges, oh well.

Network has been working on and off, off when we make improvements, welcome to development.

Yeah, I understand, good update posted on progress, would love to see more of these, gets people excited!

what does claiming again actually mean? Is it a rollback?

If I received tokens from an OTC trade, does it mean that my balance now is 0 and the seller has to send them again to me?

No, they'll just be transferred from your old to your new.

Aight, so I'm good to go with my old passphrase?

thing is. it's not ETH this time, but IOTA. Jackpot. un-fuckin-believable.

Peter Thiel himself isnt conneted to iota, its only a person which worked for Thiels company before,  as i understod.

When will IOTA be back online again? I am still not able to connect my wallet with other nodes. If network is already up again, are there any work arounds to get it work?

errrrmmm ... with the original genesis seed?
a reminder, everyone was urged to move the iotas out of that into addresses generated with a secondary seed.

but surely, detailed instructions will be available- IOTA tech has proven very robust so far

Cool. I had confirmed TX months ago. I have not touched the seed since. I moved all my funds to a MAX security account - so I should be good on that front.

Still, I'm assuming everyone MUST re-claim AGAIN. Regardless of when my tx was confirmed (months ago).

I'm confused about the re-claim. Re-claim from WHEN? When was the snapshot date? How does this effect old tx and balances?

Deadline to claim? I'm out of the country and need to RETURN to access my seed. etc.

Thanks,

snapshot date was afaik while the network was down, so TXs that were not confirmed at that time are not included

deadline afaik (no guarantee) july 2017. so no need to return.  Wink
