I made a proposal recently on improving the scaling of Transactions as Proof of Stake with a DAG instead of a blockchain. Someone pointed me to DAGCoin, which led me on to Iota, both of which are clearly related.

You can visit the speculation thread ( https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/iota-iota-speculation-1440112 ), there are some sellers there. Average price was around 1 BTC = 100 Giga IOTA (100billion), but some sellers give IOTA even below that price
This coin is in the last testing phases, I guess it won't take long to hit exchanges, but personally I'd like the Foundation to be established first (through donations

Totally agree! But I think most of IOTA buyers are waiting for GUI release and transfer of their IOTAs from sellers like _mr_e and cryptoknightt

Re: historical prices of p2p trades, no, that's up to those who resell, we don't track the price at all, the market decides. But if you head over to the IOTA Speculation thread you should be able to find quite a lot of info on it.
Our plan all along has been to establish/not establish IOTA Foundation prior to launch, then launch, then start trading on exchanges.
