We have for a long time the software that works very stable. The "beautiful" comfortable GUI comes later. But back end runs properly. My server is very stable. No problem at all.
This shows of course that any reputable company are not so much interested in the surface but for the useful revolutionary properties.

That is why we should push IOTA to the IoT related companies as hard as we can right now to build a ecosystem and be part of IoT ecosystem as well in real business world before other people start to copy and clone IOTA. All the IoT companies in the real world need is the back end software and API which we already have and they have the resources to develop applications and integrate IOTA.

We have prepared a list of IoT companies and a generic introductory letter for you to introduce IOTA to the some IoT companies. There are hundreds of IoT companies out there. If we can do 5 companies (random pick) per person we can reach out to hundreds of companies. Maybe your introcution will lead to a partnership between IOTA and a IoT company. Here is the list and the letter - http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/a-generic-iota-introductory-letter/56. All you need to do is to click a link to a company from the IoT directory and find out its contact email and copy/paste the introductory letter in your email and hit send.

Which company where contacted? (to avoid spam) Do we have a tracking list? Is Sigfox in the loop ? (100 Million cap.) Even Airbus has its IoT incubator, and there is a "Connected Camp" in the "IOT Valley" near Toulouse FR. Thank you for any information.

Those who care about incentives should read about altruism and its role in humankind evolution. Altruism is as old as greed, and one does not simply overcome patterns coded inside our genes.

BTW, https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/03/160318102101.htm (Your brain might be hard-wired for altruism)

That is some bullshit. No behaviour is "coded" anywhere.

Let's not derail this thread entirely, but are you joking? The vast, vast majority of your behaviour is indeed 'coded' into the neural structure of your brain. Do you think that the brain somehow operates outside of the laws of physics?

Thanks for Your answer. I've found also this later today http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/micro-transaction-example/49/7
It's more than enough playing material for me for now. I hope sending will be a bit easier using GUI;)

Check https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14241272 also.

Add
Code:
"messages":[]
into the generateBundle request if you go that route.

We are on the spearhead of the progress. It's possible that recent innovations haven't come to your town yet, so you are not used to them and think that it's just hype.

I've been playing a little bit with console but can't figure up what is the api call to send funds. Anyone can help with that?

First you do getTransactionToApprove, then generateBundle and finally broadcastTransactions. What details do you need?

When will IOTA with GUI release?

I didn't like user experience with the current GUI because of necessity to use another address each time. Even in Bitcoin it's possible to reuse addresses. I'll change the security scheme of addresses, this will take several days. As a side-effect GUI will need to change. Genesis addresses will change too, we'll add a special procedure for translation of addresses from old to new format upon the first authorization in the wallet. All this will make user experience and utility of Iota much better.

PS: Those who sent iotas to addresses with index 1+ should send them back to the genesis address (or an address generated with index = 0) by the 26th of March 13:00 UTC. Those who know how to send iotas via API calls can send them to the buyers (to addresses generated with index = 0 only). After the deadline I'll publish the list of addresses (in old format) and corresponding balances. This list will be used for conversion from old to new format, escrow agents can rely on it to finalize some of the trades.

Good, when IOTA is stable and ready for users, please post a detailed guide, not everyone has time to read every post of you.

So it is nothing to do with an 0 transaction account, right?

If you got your iotas in the genesis then don't worry.

Haven't noticed any new pledges in the past couple days but I see we are just short of 20m for the deal which is good. Still a good way to go towards Foundation. Iotatoken when's the email going out to reach others that not be on the forum?
