Can someone please clarify this for me?

Yes, cause you set a very low fee as 0.0001 and not 0.0005 your transaction confirmed later and you lost "early adopter" bonus.
The good news is that IOTA will not have such a "fees" at all.

Ah..I see..thanks a lot for the reply. I set it as 0.0001 as that is the standard fees that the QT core client use. Guess I should have set it higher.

Also, I understand using the block times for bonus calculation as the transaction time can be faked. But since I used the blockchain.info wallet (how can I prove this?) and transaction time cannot be faked while using the online wallet, I'm still hopeful the devs and the community (Iotians?) might consider my case and deem my transaction to be within the early adopter phase.  Smiley

And IOTA not having fees is pretty exciting. Cant wait to see how all of this pans out.

I made the following transaction which shows the received time to be "2015-12-12 13:21:47" but the transaction confirmation happened later and block time seems to be  "2015-12-12 17:20:34 + 239 minutes".

https://blockchain.info/tx/afb79542c57d4fdca044945a0e32c970725600c0e36609df061e31fde8fd2274

Does this mean my transaction will not fall into the "early adopter" phase which ended on 2PM of the 12th?

I hope that is not the case since I made the transaction using the blockchain.info wallet where (I assume) the transaction time cannot be faked.

^^

I assume this following chapter from "Terms" means that these utility bills, id-cards and photos must be provided to you, only in unfortunate case that some government officials force you to do so before the tokens are claimed, and that has not happened yet... Am i right ??

"3.1 Additional Information. You will provide to us, immediately upon our notice of request,
information that we, deem to be required to maintain compliance with any federal, state or local
law, regulation or policy. Such documents include, but are not limited to, passports, driver’s
licenses, utility bills, photographs of you, government identification cards, or sworn statements"

yes, standard, we don't see this happening.

Sorry if this question is already posted:

Can i use a https://blockchain.info/wallet for the BTC procedure?

Thanks in advance!

p.s

It has been a long time since I'd seen the launch of something concrete here, thanks!!

Yes, you can. Just make sure to not delete the address you used for send the payment, and when asked to, use this same address to send the small amount requested to prove ownership. Thats it

Ok!Thanks for the clear explanation

How do you not read the announcement? The fact that your incoming address doesn't change means nothing as far as to what the sending address is. You really shouldn't invest in high risk crypto projects if you don't yet grasp how Bitcoin works.

Man, with all due respect, this kind of comments are exactly why crypto has not yet reached mass adoption.

I made a mistake, yes, I am frustrated about it, certainly, what I need is a wonderful community to try to help my mistake and not someone telling me in a patronising way to not get into crypto. This kind of comments/people are really a hurdle for mass adoption.

Once again with all due respect

I prob came off as too harsh. My point is just that that IOTA is a a highly speculative 'investment' and I would not recommend people invest in it without having a firm grasp of crypto and the risk involved.

I get your point and I respect it but as I said, we all make mistakes whoever we are , Im into BTS,BTC,NXT,ETH,OBITS and a lot more and none of this happened to me before, Im just saying that it is not because we suck once that we are wortless, sure I do not have the same  technical competance that a lot of people here, but trust me crypto needs more average joes like me trying to get an interest and invest in this promising future.I made a mistake and completely failed for this one, oh yeah but does it mean I should not be here?I don't think so. At least I am sure not to make this silly mistake again and maybe other average joes or even tech savvy people who did not read properly will be more careful by reading my mayday Wink

Hello guys ( and girls)

I sent 0,02 +0,06 to the crowdsale address from this adress 1NwcfsBprzpxH2RZovyckeQcTMVSzFJzyb (Blocktrade BTC Gateway) From my OpenLedger account.

The address does not change, however when I type this address 1NwcfsBprzpxH2RZovyckeQcTMVSzFJzyb on blochain.info to check it out, it is stated that this address has never been used by the network so my question is will I have issues when claiming the IOTA ( Step 3 ) from this address although it is the very same?

Thanks

D.

You should contact OpenLedger support and ask if they can claim iotas instead of you to the address you provide.

I am not from IOTTA crew... let's wait for them. Maybe you can request the send addresses to the sender..

Sounds like an excellent idea! Yes let's wait for the crew to confirm, I hope this could be a solution.
