Hi,

I invested in an earlier investment phase. If I invest more from the same BTC addy in this later phase will this lead to any confusion vis-a-vis how many Iota I hold?

I asked this earlier and was told that there would be no issues receiving the correct amount of you send several payments from the same address. I have contributed in every phase of the sale.

thanks, will read this as gospel (unless corrected in the next hour)

Crowdfund should be closed now. Good luck to all participants. I also bought little earlier.  Smiley

Ah, I see the internet's interchangable usage of 12 and 24 hour got a few people confused. The sale ends at 11:59 PM (at night for 12 hour users) / 23:59 UTC (for 24 hour users).

So it's still open for another ~11 hours!

Are you going to give priority to those that invested during the pioneer phase when sending out the coin???

What do you mean 'priority' ? Everyone will get it at the same time Smiley

For my understanding there would be anyway a test mode phase within the first days, so it shouldn't really matter.

And there will be code review before the test mode phase.

Can you please point to instructions to redeem IOTA after crowdsale ends ?

True..but transaction logs of blockchain.info cant be spoofed, isn't it? I'm willing to share my blockchain.info login credentials with you to prove the transaction time. Would that work?

This won't work because you can't provide the credentials to someone who will question bonuses in 2 years.

I guess that's only fair. I'll just have to swallow the loss.

Can the devs please clear this out for me?

We can rely only on the timestamp of a block that included a transaction, otherwise if in the future some questions arise (like why Alice got 15% bonus but Bob got no bonus at all) the community will be unable to come to the same answer. It's common knowledge that Bitcoin miners do timestamping, the precision of this process is not very good, but there is no a better alternative.

Can someone please clarify this for me?

Yes, cause you set a very low fee as 0.0001 and not 0.0005 your transaction confirmed later and you lost "early adopter" bonus.
The good news is that IOTA will not have such a "fees" at all.

Ah..I see..thanks a lot for the reply. I set it as 0.0001 as that is the standard fees that the QT core client use. Guess I should have set it higher.

Also, I understand using the block times for bonus calculation as the transaction time can be faked. But since I used the blockchain.info wallet (how can I prove this?) and transaction time cannot be faked while using the online wallet, I'm still hopeful the devs and the community (Iotians?) might consider my case and deem my transaction to be within the early adopter phase.  Smiley

And IOTA not having fees is pretty exciting. Cant wait to see how all of this pans out.

Can the devs please clear this out for me?
