To those that bought from me:

Tomorrow (Saturday) 21:00 UTC will be the deadline to apply for the fast-track payout (complements of CfB). Those that dont apply will get their coins after GUI wallet release as originally planned. Thanks.

who will make the transfer of IOTA, you or CFB, because it may not be an easy operation. Sorry because I ignore your knowledge on the subject and thanks for de job.

CfB published the details of sending IOTA's:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14241272

it is not so terrible, I think.
And some perl script what I tried to run with succeed (IRI-0.8.0 needed):
https://github.com/ifinta/IOTAstrip see trytx.pl.

please consider IOTA is in beta phase only... use it with caution.

@iotatoken,

if the big buyers would like to contribute on iotas success, how would that be a influence your Jinn Projekt? Would Jinn take part in a partnership, what is your current vision to Jinn?.  Thanks for your response.

many thanks to you and CfB for facilitating this! I was interested in buying about 0.5 btc worth of IOTA if anyone that's legit has, let me know.

As I said in my previous pledge, if I do get, then I will also pledge some IOTA out of that towards foundation and the 'big deal'. I understand the dynamics David has to deal with in the real world with not being able to reveal full details of the big deal buyer etc and I'm cool with that. If I had millions of IOTA I would have contributed more towards that deal as well. Of course at the same time it would be good for us and more so those with their valid uncertainties to get an idea of how big the player is, whether they are in X industry or well known for Y (broad generalisation of course so as not to be specific).

I am very skeptical about the protocol of iota. CIYAM says that IOTA is not written very clean.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14219113

I think there are a high risk that IOTA does not work. Maybe Microsoft has not even looked at the code.

Here are software developers who can say more about the java code of iota?

Thank you

CIYAM is not an idiot, he is a troll.
He knows that when developing software, you design algorithm, and then you code it in programming language.
Cfb spend a year thinking about algorithm.

When you have an algorithm, you can code it in C++, C, Java, C#, whatever you like relatively fast.

CIYAM also knows that to take port number  from configuration file it takes 15 minutes of programming, you literally load file in memory, parse it and set a value of a port in a variable. 15 minutes to code.

And knowing all of that he wrote this crap about "crap software". So he is not an idiot, he is a cheap troll.
When I point that his claim that early versions of Facebook were written better then iota means that he has facebook source code - what do you think he said to me? He said to me that my English is broken. When I was 15 and I have nothing to say I do exectly the same.

He called himself "qualified software engineer". I say he is a qualified troll that have a degree in CS and wrote some code.

I know that Cfb is very unpleasant.
Cfb is a gentleman. He never swears and his posts are smart, why is he unpleasent?
Cfb CIYAM
My mistake. spelling mistake. I'm sorry. Cfb - I think you make a great job, really!

Because you only saw one side of him. He can be a totally different person than you thought.

Anyway, talking abut his judgment, he said to me that investing in Ethereum's pre-sale was wasting money during the Ether pre-sale. That showed what was his ability to evaluate crypto projects.

Maybe he urgently needs money.

For testing purposes I need some transactions to be done this week. If the seller PMs me with his seed and address where to send the iotas to, I could do the escrow. By knowing the seed I'll be able to repeat the transaction right before the release if the rollback happens.

I'll let you know if the deal happens. My offer is actual for the next 24 hours.

No news from that guy, maybe something happened? The time is ticking...

I use my own brain...

CIYAM's claims on the code (even if they were true) are irrelevant because it's not production code. Because of this the discussion can't even begin, it simply doesn't make sense.

Problem with accepting only BTC is that it lasts quite shortly, I.E. it does not increase in value with the result of the foundation. With iota it is a direct relationship.

I see, sounds fair. Although i never meant only btc, but both of them.

Please do not get me wrong! I want that this project will be a success. Maybe last it have been better if the iota-Foundation had accepted Bitcoin instead of IOTA. If the project fails at the beginning, the Foundation has no money to repair the software.

I also suggested accepting bitcoin. I think having both options would optimize the will to colaborate in the community. Some people may have a small stake( to their regret) from which they cant donate much, and would rather do it with btc.
And as David says, "for the real world", btc or $$ is what you will need for common expenses.

http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/iota-foundation-announcement/174/2?u=johngalt

About the GUI, they ve been transparent all along. Just unlucky or bad choice with who the work was put on, but we were all aware while it happened.

As for GUI choices: I'd like to see anyone look at www.creativeda.sh who is on the top of most popular posts on www.dribbble.com and www.behance.net, who has clients like Adobe and Nike, and conclude "these will probably waste a month of our time and then announce they lost their developer". If anyone here could see such a thing coming: I want to hire you permanently as my oracle.
