IOTA has begun to excite me. In the beginning I was cold against the project. However, if I can find capital with my recent researches, I can invest.

IOTA bought at the end of last year. Other coins have grown well, but IOTA is not happy yet. In any case, I'll keep it until the end of this year. I hope that soon the growth will begin and IOTA will take its place.

Sonstebo said that a module for IOTA, the IXI Hub, is beeing developed and is nearly finished (security checks now).
This will enable the waiting exchanges (6 of them as far as I know) to just plug&play, so when IXI Hub is out, they can list IOTA pretty simple.

Here's a great collection of quotations from Dom on IXI, the progression of the Foundation and a few other things:

The biggest difference between IOTA and currencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum is that there is no division between users and miners. For IOTA users will be miners, and miners are users. What is the secret? That is the mechanism of request no matter how much you transfer, you will have to confirm 2 transactions of other people to ensure your transaction is completed. In other words when you transfer money you are both a user, you are both a miner. It's a great technology. I believe in the future of IOTA will grow.

I do like the concept of users validating two transactions when making a transaction. It keeps the system safe and the speed will increase as number of transactions grow, which is the problem in many block chain coins. I have high hopes for IOTA.

I own a small bag of IOTA. I wonder however if IOTA is progressing too slow to stay ahead.

I hope they will be able to do what they set out to do, by then it would be an important player (not in cryptoland, but world-wide).

IOTA is bringing in new and innovative technology in the cryptocurrency world. While Bitcoin or Ethereum uses block technology, IOTA uses no-cycle graphing technology, meaning that the execution of transactions does not have a defined cycle. This technology allows IOTA to achieve rapid growth and zero transaction costs. This is a very necessary feature when the market of coin large in the market is quite heavy due to the transaction volume is too large and transaction fees so high. I believe that with this technology IOTA can completely succeed in the cryptocurrency market.

Firstly thanks for such informative post. Your enthusiasm of IOTA is impressive and enough inspiring!
But we’ll, most of project seems perspective. What is the most important fact that make you sure about this project?
People are saying that IOTA could be considered as the "4th Industrial Revolution" , IOTA has ability to enable machine payments and leverage IoT. Assets tracking, payments, remote monitoring are the main reason that we should chose IOTA not other projects. IOTA could be the significant investment for us.

Kind of useless to discuss here, some obviously just pump their own coin, some just critisize because they missed the buy opportunity.
Let's talk after next pump, which will come in a few weeks after a big partnership is announced

Progressing too slow? They have multiple proof-of-concepts with multi-national corporations and governments and are on the short list of solutions for Sweden's replacement of the Crown https://dowbit.com/iota-swedish-ecrown/

I get the feeling a lot of people focus on P2P for evaluations, when IOTA's Foundation is focused squarely on M2M. And while I'm grateful Trinity wallet will be released soon an address those P2P concerns, I'm more impressed that the Foundation has made the most of their lead in M2M and has focused their talent and resources on developing relationships and creating proof-of concepts for a working IOT network. If you've been following this thread, you shouldn't be surprised when IOTA makes good on those endeavors.

Repo for Haarlam/IOTA proof-of-concept for government legal certificates and documents https://github.com/Haarlem/digitale-waardepapieren

Someone asked before, "Why they would do this?" The stated reason is to cut down on creating expensive documents that have to be issued on forge-proof paper.
