Is this an indicator of development hard at work https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/iota/developer  Wink

Github isn't a clear indicator of productivity, especially when much of the current work is in Proof-of-Concepts with multinational Corporations. But feel free to use at as investment tool and be caught offguard when it isn't indictitive to actual progress.

I don't think IOTA next jam. It's already the top projects with a great future. Active team of developers with many updates to come it will be fine. I think a lot of the x's will be in 2018. Especially hope for growth in the spring
Why do you have such confidence in development in 2018? To date, analysis shows that many coins are designed only to earn seed money or to improve their financial ability. Well, you do not cause me trust. So I'm still only focused on the etherium. Although I understand that this is two different directions and two different projects.

IOTA has entered a very solid upward trend. The decline in BTC slowed the whole market. I think IOTA will come to good places. If I have the chance, I can buy it.

I heard that the developers of this project have already concluded agreements with many well-known companies. If such development continues and further then the coin can significantly rise in price. The IOTA has a very large potential.

Yes, you can make money even with stupid, useless or scammer projects, I was pointed to it by a computer scientist friend of mine that I trust. While it seems as though IOTA transaction propagation mechanism is more efficient than blockchain, I'm still not sold on it security. It also seems as though it conceptually an improvement over the ripple infrastructure as well. In any event, it appears as though the downtrend is over

Great interview with David on the expanding Foundation and their focus on moving into fields like automotive and healthcare--should give you an indication as to the scope of the project: https://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/news/iota-will-cryptocurrency-founder-says/

I hope IOTA is able to live up to its potential - because if it does it will be HUGE. I unfortunately bought at the peak, like an idiot, trying to force entry back in December - so I'm looking at a fat red minus in my portfolio for now - but I'm not going to give up on it. I'll hold for a few years I reckon, because the sky will be the limit if it actually achieves HALF of what it promises.
you should probably add position and do cost averaging, give it some time like 5 or 6 months, and see where it goes to

Bosch AMA: https://www.reddit.com/r/Iota/comments/7sxgx0/bosch_ama_january_25th/

When asked about using Bosch sensors with IOTA's tangle:

We can use this with the Tangle and IOTA if the application requires accountability and audit-ability of the process. The use cases can extend to smart building, cities, manufacturing etc. We are planning on launching a Proof of Concept in our plants today.

Between this and the data marketplace it'sa interesting to see actual use for IOTA and the furthering of IOT as a network.

IOTA is in my portfolio from the end of December. The growth is not impressive compared to other coins, but I believe that it will start soon. I will not sell until the end of the year for sure.

a very good decision!

I am not sure about that, because right now there are many people waiting for their funds to re-appear in their wallets. Reclaims are not working for many people. Maybe wee see more dumps after finish of the reclaim process.

Reclaims have been successful--I'm sure some have dumped, but in the end it doesn't matter as being a successful M2M platform is what pays the bills. All these idiots focusing on P2P don't get that IOTA will be or won't be the backbone of the IOT--P2P is an already crowded secondary market with coins that have had 5+ year head start. M2M is a trillion dollar bet and the IOTA Foundation is focused on winning it, not competing with Ripple or Bitcoin or any of the 1000 other P2P coins. If you haven't figured that out by now, there's no hope for you at this point, so feel free to ignore IOTA.

There's nothing wrong for IOTA for aiming to acquire M2M. It is its goal and it is great that it has one. Let us try to give chance to this because I think that this will really bloom. Besides, many are really supporting this that is why, it is able to have early investors. IOTA might be cheap on your perspective until now but I assure you that there will be a time for its progress.

Internet of the things (items) is an important concept for the futuristic future of our lives. IOTA here carries a potential but it's a hype as well. I know there are many more IOT projects and none of them were pumped like IOTA.

Be careful for this, I suggest.

Always loads of stories about IOTA recruiting highly respected professionals to the team. I also like the fact that are not bothered about the currency value. They really appear to be all about the technology....this can only be good! however a huge pump would be nice Smiley
