For those who are using iPhone and androids be careful ,their are some crypto mobile wallets on store that aren't popular or well knowned ,please do not use them ,some of this apps have keyloggers pre installed ,they will easily steal your backup phrase

Especially those named 'bitcoin wallet' like in the picture below, they are well rated and they are in different colors

Head to playstore or iOS store and type in just 'bitcoin wallet' you will see many fake bitcoin wallets popping up ,go for popular mobile wallets like coinomi ,trust ,enjin ,mycelium ,coinbase ,bitpay ,copay, bread ,jaxx or atomic wallet.
I usually use Trust wallet for the crypto transfers and my favorite ETH application is Jwallet. Popular wallets never take the copy of the private keys and I am sure other phishing sites have an application listed on the Google play store.

Leading Crypto Sports Betting & Casino Platform
I am seeing a lot of trash apps in Appstore, and I can imagine that some poor guys are depositing their coins and get scammed. Always google the name of any programme and investigate this app of its legitimacy before you download them to your device.
I think people just need to learn to be smart, with this level of development, I think people should already know they will always verify an application before installing it, even before cryptocurrency was invested, there has always been same application in the market, even in the games that we do install from the store in which some of them are just there to spy on ones pc and also there to directly scam people.

The best way to ever install and application is to go through the website directly and even when going through the website, there is also need to crosscheck the website and be sure that it is a verified one. I am sure that any genuine website will have a link to the correct application on any play store where they exist for people to download.
Downloading through website is a lot more dangerous than from the playstore or appstore directly. Atleast in playstore or appstore they have regulation to prohibit this kind of apps and if all these phishing apps did get in they will removed after someone reported it immediately and take prevention in the upcoming time but website? even you need to change your default settings and be warned first to be allowed to install app from random website.

Until now I have never used the Mobile version of the Bitcoin Wallet, I have only downloaded the Mobile Wallet application for altcoin like Arax Wallet and Hubrisone, and even then because they required me to download it for wallet distribution from the Reward bounty that I did.

As the market grows back, Scammers become more and more dangerous, We should only look for names that are highly valued instead of looking for wallet with Bitcoin names.

Therefore we must always be careful in choosing a wallet to store our coins. Before choosing a mobile wallet, we must always check who made the wallet, for the security of our coins. I chose to use Trust wallet or imtoken on my android to save my coins

Thanks for the warning. Owing to the rate of scam or fraudulent activities targeted on investors I think the best way of storing any coin is using the trusted wallet we used to know not some new applications that just appeared from no where; unless the application have been tested and vetted by the team incharge of such project.

I do not understand why they can be there, even though they should have been able to show up there before they have passed a rigorous examination, not an application can enter the Playstore and Appstore  Undecided

Thanks for sharing this... I personally never use bitcoin wallet on the phone.
I store my bitcoin on the exchange...

I lol'ed at this. Mate, don't ever trust exchange security and put your funds there (If you are actively trading then it makes bit of sense).

Many lost their funds in cryptopia hack and still crying. Don't repeat the same mistake.

It is really very helpful statement. With this way they can steal your information and your secret. l would say it is not fair but it can not help to us. We have to be careful. They are searching the new way to steal wallet, it is improbable, that will stop

If your Android smartphone is not modified, but simply "out of the box" then it does not need an antivirus. This is not Windows and the system works on other principles. You just don't have to allow the installation of programs from untrusted sources.

Could our AntiVirus apps on your mobile device pick up those malware, trojans and keyloggers? I thought most AntiVirus apps would do the trick and prevent those malicious wallets?
It could but i think that not all of virus can be caught by our antivirus, while a lot of people have been giving their opinion if the antivirus in our mobile devices were crap.

Antivirus in android isn't the same as AntiVir that already made for PC. It much better to keep in our mind never try to download unpopular wallet without any review or testimony.

Damn keyloggers in the apps that are found in the AppStore and playstore that's pretty serious, don't apple/google check for bad codes before hosting the application on their respective stores? If not then they should definitely start doing that because we trust them to give us trusted applications.

A mobile application can easily modify and mimic the original or legit apps. If you won't be cautious, you may be the next victim.

If you really wanted to try some crypto wallet, go to their trusted sites. However, storing your precious carpets on mobile is too risky.

The most advisable way to keep your crypto, either by hardware wallet or use offline wallet.

It is true not only for Iphone, and Android devices but is true for all kind of mobile devices, no  matter which operation system they use. Mobile devices, basically, are more vulnerable to attacks, rather than laptop and computers. People are ususally pay less funds and less attention to protect their mobile devices with antivirus softwares, for example.

Very good information and it can be one of the considerations when going to use the applications. So far, we may only follow what some teams or people suggest. With this information, we can consider the positive and negative sides of using a certain application, especially on the iPhone and Android. So far, many projects or coins need us to download or use certain application in the mobile or cellular phone and we only follow the instruction. However, sometimes, we don't consider the negative sides that may happen.

I am not worried about third-party strange, useless new wallets in app and google. What worries me most is the other applications on my phone, some of which have full access to settings and the file system.

Indeed, almost all applications do that too and you're right sometimes the bad things come from the unexpected application. Full of risk. We need more aware because we had a important thing on our phone.
