I dont know how play store filter their application but if we look at the high rating what dev doing at the application ? Why they can get high rating easily? Im confused. Any bug on play store or what ? You know all of us always look at rating,if rating doing great that mean those application work really good. Nice you share this information but personally im type of person with high evaluate before using application.
I am not worried about third-party strange, useless new wallets in app and google. What worries me most is the other applications on my phone, some of which have full access to settings and the file system.

First of all, try not to deal with smartphones and tablets when you work with the cryptocurrencies. It is proved already that using mobile devices, people make more mistakes. I always thought that the scammers would find a scheme, regardless of the degree of protection, in order to fool unknowing users. I would advise not to distribute the private key of the wallet anywhere else - only to METAMASK or MyEtherWallet, and then check the correctness of the site! yep there are many fake wallet apps nowadays and some apps looks like an official wallet, but no they are just to pretend the real one be careful.
there are fan made apps about the original app/wallet but they are not official or its not been made by the real company . some are legit while be careful on some because they might have viruses or malwares that can steal your credentials . there are also crypto wallet and crypto apps that are not popular . its not bad to try those indie ones but still be careful on what your downloading for and make sure that you always scan them before installing or download only on the google/apple store .

Yes keyloggers can do serious damage to us and also they can steal our bank details and steal ou money which maybe come with any apps so please watch wha are the permissions they are asking for before installing it or clicking next while installing. Thanks for the post, but store include fake cryptocurrency wallet is well known, cryptocurrency newbies always get scammed because they don't have any knowledge about that. From my side I don't think mobile wallet is a safe place to store our crypto assets, but hardware wallet is our first choice.

installing wallet for mobile phone is really risk if that wallet isn't from official coin/token, even some of them required or asking you to put your private key to access your wallet. never risk your money for that.
