If the plan didn't seem credible to you, you obviously wouldn't invest.  All scams need good bait to work.

That said, the "business plan" is a Goldbergian hodgepodge.

Not all scams are short cons, where the operator grabs the money and runs.  Those are dumb scams, run by short-sighted goofballs who eventually wind up in prison.

A good scam, OTOH, is *indistinguishable from a failed business when it winds down*.  It's designed that way.  It takes longer, requires more planning, and the take is only a persentage of the gross money raised, but the operator has *nothing to worry about from teh law*.

Why must this be constantly repeated?

He has a solid business plan and NEO will bring it a lot of profit, so why turn it into a scam if it is gonna make money anyway? (Greater money than if it was 'just a scam'

...2) NEO & BEE is a scam: False. Other than the fact that they have proved again and again that they're not; why would a major university be on their team (or at least big supporters of NEO) if they're a scam? And moreover, who are they trying to scam?
...

The same argument that was used with Labcoin and every other scam since the start of time.

TL;DR:  You're not meant to understand how a scam works.  If you did, you wouldn't fall for it, and the scam would be a *failed* scam.

*Remember Danny promised to solve the Ukyo "problem"?  How'd that work out?

@mikemikemike:  If you're digging the low prices, why aren't you buying???

So you're saying that NEO hired a huge team, made working software, made a huge marketing campaign, made contracts with major companies in Cyprus etc. etc. etc. just to get Bitcoin from investors? Isn't that overkill?

Danny promised to HELP solve Ukyo's problem, and I know that he tried his best

What's going on? Is Neo Bee getting delisted from Havelock? So NeoBee must be pretty shitty to invest in right now?
Pretty bad, I was planning on purchasing couple thousand shares. Oh well..

Yep, definitely being delisted. Also, their offices are going to be burned and their directors shot.

Oh wait...you mean this is all made up shit without any evidence at all?

Way to go you little FUDster.

Myths debunked:
1) NEO & BEE Getting delisted from Havelock: False (at the moment). Even if it does get delisted it will move on either to lmb-holdings.com or to another exchange, with TAT's helping all the transfers go smoothly (as happened before with BF and BTC-TC)

2) NEO & BEE is a scam: False. Other than the fact that they have proved again and again that they're not; why would a major university be on their team (or at least big supporters of NEO) if they're a scam? And moreover, who are they trying to scam?

3) Danny Brewster if flying out of Cyprus, one way ticket: Not worth explaining why this is false

4) "The financial announcement is late thus it's bad news": Not necessarily true. The prospectus itself was delayed, it was originally planned to come out on the day NEO opened but then rescheduled - I hate to break this to ya guys but the NEO & BEE team have a lot going on now and it is understandable if keeping investors happy if not on the top of their agenda (even though they always have good investor relations if time allows it

Moral of the story: fact-check, fact-check, fact-check, and don't believe everything online. The more you know kids!

I see Danny has given up on Twitter.  Used to be pretty chatty, a few tweets a day, and now ... nothing in a week.
I'm not a Twitter fan myself.
Good call, Danny.

So... Should I buy neo & bee stocks, or don't you think it has a bright future ahead/

Well, it currently has:

- nice shiny branch
- lots of good ideas
- lots of staff
- lots of advertising spent to create awareness

But:

- no products available
- no approvals by any authorities
- no customers
- no declared income or published financial statements

I am willing to be corrected on all the above of course.

If you believe that they will get lots of approvals, customers and profits, then buy - right now it's still a wild gamble as far as I see.

as well as a leader who is currently getting affairs in order, packing, and flying out of country for good next week………I suppose when one ships their cars they do not intend to return.

Other than floating some coins for a funky office space and hiring a PR company, what have these "best people" accomplished?

The grand opening, with heavy (bought and paid for) media attention came and went, and ... Nothing.
No news on accounts.
No news on bitcoin sold.
No news on POS being used.
No news on ATMs.
Not even "financial projections" Danny promised you.

P.S. @jakedeez:  What are Danny's qualifications for starting a bank, other than "he seems nice" and "not a space alien"?

So basically your argument is "no news."  No news is a lot different than no results. The only thing on trial here seems to be your patience.

"no news is good news" has been replaced by the internet generation with "no news is highly suspicious"...it's very sad and I suspect will lead to some serious neuroses.
...

In that case, the shrewd financiers who invested in Labcoin and Ukyo are going to make quite a killing -- they had no news for quite a while!

...Absence of reports doesn't mean there's nothing to report...

The only other thing that comes to mind is news so shit that you'd rather not share it.  What else is there?
You were promised a financial update by Sunday.  It's almost Tuesday in Cyprus.

If there is a delay it means that there is a good reason for it

It's the impact of rolling news...."no news is good news" has been replaced by the internet generation with "no news is highly suspicious"...it's very sad and I suspect will lead to some serious neuroses.

But then our resident troll clearly has a number already.

It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye
A related bet up on BitBet: NEOBEE Orphaned in 2014, betting on whether or not NEOBEE will remain on Havelock.

1. They've spent the money, have nothing really to show for it and aren't getting anywhere fast, so be careful.

2. They'll get there in the end, so hang on and you'll make money in the long-run.

Sorry, I don't see how you came to the conclusion that those are the only 2 possibilities just because they are not posting daily updates.  Absence of reports doesn't mean there's nothing to report.

While I appreciate your posts and perspective on this company, I think you've posted everything that can be said about how you feel concerning this investment.  Do you have new information to consider?

Thank you Peter.

Like anything in this pre-singularity life, there are issues and problems. To suggest that there are no issues and / or problems with Neo is to suggest that aliens from planet perfect run the company - and no one here is doing that. Additionally, pointing out general problems that any start-up and / or company faces as somehow respective only to Neo is nonsense. Trolls will be trolls, but for everyone who isn't intent on spending their lives being an asshole on the internet, please keep in mind that this business(es) is a process and a tremendous undertaking. It ain't twitter.

Pointing out problems is one thing, and I would be insane if I said I have a problem with that. Right out criticizing it and calling it a scam is another - if you think it is a scam you shouldn't be here. If you have investor or are planning to invest and you have legitimate concerns by all means we are here to listen to them!
