If you patience enough and waiting for at least 1 year, i think it's possible if you choosed a good coin to hold
It is very possible to earn a million dollar if you are able to join in a good bounty project which really pays you according to the tasks assigned to you and especially if those bounty project that you had participated will have their tokens increase its market values gradually everyday, so if it happens that you had join their Signature Campaign, Facebook Campaign, Twitter Campaign and Translation, I'm sure you will be an instant millionaire especially if you are a high ranking member such as Legendary member which is entitled to a much higher payment then earning MILLIONS is not far away.
Anything may be possible in this world. And when it is the case of becoming Millionaire through Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, it is definitely possible. Why people investing in these digital currencies because it's happening. There are a lot of people who have earned millions through trading and investing in digital coins. If the coins held by you, go up to, say by 100 times or 1000 times becoming a millionaire is not a dream. Your long-term investment in cryptos can make you rich.
I think its still possible but very hard, it was probably bit easier in past when bitcoin was cheap and altcoins worth pennies. Now its so hard to find worthy altcoin and as most of them are pumped hard.
Well yes, everything is possible but nothing comes easy. Thus, million dollars is possible but it will take a long run to be achieved. Maybe 5-10 years from now or more.
Many have already did it. They made it possible whether by buying a cheap crypto and it got pumped 100x or 1000x and the other one is hitting a jackpot ICO which is the ultimate multiplier.
If one were to buy and hold solid avaerge coins (not a coin that kicks out and gets 10000% gain), but rather a nice steady gain like eth, Ltc etc (top 20) and starts with 10k, is it possible to reach a million without trading and buying/selling at highs and lows? If so, how long would you predict it would take? Or are most coins not going to last long term, so every 6 months would I have to rebalance with newer coins?
Yes it is! There are coins that increase 100x in just a year or it doesn't even take a year for some and with your $10,000 you can be a millionaire just by holding it. Sometimes you just got lucky because a coin may rebrand and then after it rebrands, another developer takes over and then make their projects successful. Antshares which rebrands to Neo made some people millionaire. There are also ICOs that are successful and since its developers are very active and many investors believe in it, 100x has been achieved.

Choosing the right coin can lead us to millions as long as we don't deal on FUD and get pqnics everytime value drops, just get updated in your coin info so you'll have idea when to sell. because I just saw my friend do that

This is possible only if the coin is holding for a long period of times. The crypto coins are high volatile due to nature of its demand/supply gap. Even in a day it grows 500% and then then the next day it may decline to the initial position of 50% decline. Making million dollar is possible, so hold a good coin which has the longterm business prospect and hold the coin at least 3 years.

Yes, Don't trade it everyday because you will loss a lot of profit. but if you holding for long term 10k is very possible leave it a year or 2 years and sell it after you gets profit! Be patience!

Start from 10k? I dont think it can be a million if you dont trade your capital.
Other choice maybe invest in ico which have big opportunity to grow much after hit exchanger.

I thinks we cannot predict the exact month or a year that those major coins would turn into a million without make it done in investment transaction by just only hoarding or to make deposited in long term investment.buying a solid coins that without doing nothing like selling and buying could not make your aims to gain a million dollar,maybe thats should you reach that if the price value of your coins will grow,but it cost a long years and needs a constant price value increasing.
Yeah, a million dollars is possible if you invest in coins like ripples, verge, or ethereum. You didn't really need much especially for verge. You probably need about $1000 to be a millionaire with verge. In 2016 verge market cap was a little over 200000. That insane.
I think it is possible. But for a long time. Look at bitcoin, started for less than a dollar and mooned to almost $20k. Best way for you to get millions right away is to trade. Buy low sell high principle.
Nothing is impossible if you invest bitcoin or altcoins like ethereum and litecoin now. Million is easy if your investment is high it depends on how much you put-up. If your investment is low then maybe a couple of years waiting and hardwork before you can gain million USD. Buy now at bitcoin while the price is low and also have even just a little share at ethereum and litecoin because that two is promising.
Yes. That will be possible even withholding alone. Imagine if you bought top 10 altcoins today 1-2 years ago, you are already a millionaire as of now. especially if you both coins like ethereum and Litecoin.

It is possible before if you invest at least 120BTC in the past Feb 2011 because the rate of 1BTC is 1$ and the rate now is 1BTC = 8,600$. I think it still possible but it takes time and lots of efforts. So be patient until the time comes.
The interesting thing about investing in ICOs is that you can very quickly become a millionaire because if you choose a potential ICO, the chances of making a profit are high. So you need to research specific to find the potential ICOs, if you find you will have a lot of money from it. 
You need to catch *100 profit to reach 1M$ starting with 10k $. If you are following the market, you'll see that many altcoins passed *100 profit last year.
Maybe you don't have to choose 1 from the top because they already grew so much and it became harder to do *100 again.
Try to choose some new and cheap altcoin that can give you your desired profit faster.
