I would recommend you not to, as sport bets might be very hard for newbie. Of course you can bet on low risk matches but you will get almost no profit at all, to be good in sports bets you have to invest a lot of time into that, i think it would be much better for you if you would keep earning bitcoins like you did and just hold them. If you will want to invest them somewhere, you can start trading, it is good way to earn and it's less risky.

Seems a good idea that newbie needs to choose the better way of earning bitcoin or profit. If they need to or want to gamble, ask them first. But for me, it's worth to try those newbie to gamble but it will be better if they will only gamble with play money or with free trials so that if they lose, there's nothing to worry and feel sorry about it.

If experience would teach something, that would be on how person would accept a lost. Some people lose there minds if they lost or even stick to even more gambling that can lead to big debt. So everyone is really fit for gambling but that depends on how your perspective on gambling or even losing is. Controling the odds and betting on what really your guts would tell you and not just basing on just some pure luck.

Yes all of us can fit to gamble but the question is, is the newbie we are teaching or seeing playing is capable of accepting defeat. But we'll know the answer for that question if lose happened to him. That's why we have free will, if we think we will be having a good experience and benefit on it, just do it and if the result is bad, we are free to flee from it.

I think your friend is really addicted to it, and betting his life on the line and that's what's going on, greediness and uncontrollable will to play. That's just the start, I think he can ruin other people's lives with that, affecting everyone around him on the dot, 24/7. I agree with what you just said but it still depends on the person reading it. I can manage myself when gambling (most of the time).

Not a bad idea but if you know what will be the possible result to that newbie better warn him about it. Not all the time it's bad to gamble but if you want to them to give some idea of playing for pastime or they have a lot of free time, so there's no problem with it. Just advice them not to make their bets higher.

Actually gambling will just give loss and loss only and we are addicted so we can't stop gambling at all but yes if we see a newbie entering this dark world I would personally take a step and teach them about the negative aspects.

Some people have a tendency of " I gave loss, I will make sure everyone losses " while I am sort of guy who believes " I have lost, won't let that happen to others ".

Im disagree with your last statement. Betting is more nice way if you will not always rely on professional analyzer. Take time to learn that sports so that you can make your own idea. Get those professional analysis but not to follow them in an instant because you must analyzed it first if it's close to reality or just a random pick.

Well I think he meant newbie to Bitcoin and this forum not necessarily a newbie to gambling, he might be an experienced fiat gambler already but he's just looking for where he wants to invest his bitcoins as a newbie in order to grow it.

Gamblers that have no experience don’t really know when to stop gambling. If the gambler does not know when to stop gambling then the gambler would lose a bunch of money making the wrong bets. If I wanted to gamble without any experience then I would have to go through a whole bunch of gambling phrases that I don’t know plus I would have to push random buttons just so I could make a random reward through my gambling picks.

Yeah gambling is less knowledge involved with more fun and luck involved. Trading need good learning about the price increase happening with time. So I do think gambling can be good for newbies if he has bag of money to place it into the risk to profiting big.

We know how far we can go and we cannot go toe to toe to a casino where we do not have the edge, we have to fully consider that reality and accept it that we will lose in the long run. Everyone can enjoy gambling because that is the real purpose of gambling but we should stop believe that gambling is the easiest way to make money.
