The bitcoin is used by some people in illegal activities. But the proportion of illegal use has reduced all the time.
It will be of course used by illegal activities and that is because many criminals are using it as their payment method and it is also easy to use for them so that is really nice for them.

Yup bitcoin is being used in illegal transaction my friend said that this cryptocurrency is the main option payment for illegal transaction in deepweb. Because its safe you can use it without your true identity. You can send how much as you can to anyone and other people didnt see the transaction is for illegal they just see how many you send and they think that this bitcoin funds is from pool mining.

If I use my coins to purchase a can of beer, are you going to claim that I am using my BTC for illegal purchases?
There are instances where a law is being adopted by a state from other state. But,the thing is, there are crimes or illegal activities which are common to all countries, like drug trafficking and gun smuggling and many more. Exactly lot of illegal activities have been taking place just because its more attractive anonymous nature. The same time bitcoin could have not got such a big volume of users if its not anonymous like banking.

Yes ofcourse.Bitcoin is a currency and we all know all currency is can be use to both legal and illegal things or activities online or not.I dont think that the government will ban bitcoin just because it is use to a illegal activity then if they will do that they must ban all crypto and paper currency because both currency is can be use on illegal things.The government must ban those who uses it for illegal things not the currency itself.

that's dumb statement, bitcoin is a currency and currency can be used for anything if the user want,just like people do use dollar to buy drugs or anything illegal? its the same like when you use btc,and about money laundering, its possible to be done through any currency, do you ever saw people buying a very simple painted canvas with only 2 colors like red and blue ? and they bought it for $5 million? do you think its normal or money laundering?

They dont control bitcoin, they cant print bitcoin, and they can cheat with bitcoin. This is a reason you see lots of negative press about bitcoin. Banks and gavernments dont want ppl to use it. Thus, the easiest way is just to scare ppl that bitcoin is only used by criminals or it is a scam.

I personally do not know such people who are using bitcoin for illegal activities. I personally know some people who are using bitcoin are businessmen. some are teacher and lecturer. may be there are some people who are using bitcoin for illegal activities. but such type of people are also doing it in flat currency. they are also doing illegal activities in other digital currencies.
Just like cash is used for illegal activities, so is Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

More over they use bitcoin because its of anonymity and its not easy to tracked. even if they say its not anonymous, it really is. its not easy to trace and if authorities can't link accounts then authorities can no longer pursue. why do you think people are are still extorting each other?

Bitcoin is heavily dependent on deepweb marketplaces (remember when Evolution marketplace in deepweb collapsed and scam people in January 2015 for 12 MLN USD in Bitcoin) that time bitcoin price was of 160-170 for whole January. So Bitcoin is dependent also in the illegal activities conducted there (of course I don't agree with neither of such activities).
I think i heard before that bitcoin is the way for anonymous transactions so i think many illegal activities behind bitcoin.. i saw some tor site from dark web that you can see more illegal sales in darkweb that you can only access using tor.. until now they are using bitcoin as payment not paypal or needs real information before you can deposit.. so they are using bitcoin because they dont need to give real information to deposit and to transact your money to merchant.. also bitmixer can be use to dont traces all transactions..
