Bitcoin doesn't annoy you with frozen funds, Bitcoin doesn't bother you with silly charge backs, and above of all, you are the full owner of your money with Bitcoin, and you're invested in it because you own Bitcoin.

yes all of them have advantages and disadvantages of each. you just have to see how they work. however I think bitcoin is on paypal. I as a user can feel how they work. I chose bitcoin. I chose a new era for the future.

Media has the power to make something to grow in a short time as well it makes to fall in a very short time. But I haven't felt media considering bitcoin as a big issue.

The problem is that the average person is very sensitive to what the media is saying. If all they say about Bitcoin is nothing good, then the people will believe that. They will look at Bitcoin and see it as currency of the under world. It's being used by criminals only to buy drugs, weapons and such. So yes, you are very right here. The media can make or break things.

Yep, it's definitally better but paypal has bigger user base and it'll take time to beat it. It's also regulated so people are not so afraid using it.

what is the big problem being traceable if you are not doing anything illegal ? yes paypal will block funds if you are getting some huge amounts in our account. they will find a way to block our account. make sure you sign a digital signature from the customer while using so that they wont reverse and claim the amount.

Bitcoin as a payment is still a bit difficult ,most of the shopping sites are yet to allow bitcoin, exchanging bitcoin to cash is yet another pain with all the charges and stuff and the varying prices i dont think it is very good of an idea. that is my opinion .

final verdict is both has its own advantages and disadvantages

Yes bitcoin is becoming popular now a days.....people go for paypal for online shopping....we can make money via paypal but i feel the btc is better as we get profit on the btc value more often and paypal is just a tool which we can use instead of money and your money will not be increased there where as in btc if you hold on you btc then you can say you will get profit towards it......

Thats because of the whole mt.gox story made people see it bad, or very sketch.

And when they heard the silk road event as well, it just makes it look worst for a new comer to even bother with bitcoin.

Bitcoin is far better than paypal. If we use paypal it has huge amount transaction fees than bitcoin. If wanna compare paypal means We can compare with Western union.
