Well, coronavirus did affect the market and there are a lot of people that are so shocked by the price change. I am used to these kinds of changes it is just really surprising it fell that low but still I see this as an opportunity to invest again and not sell my crypto currencies. If I did that, that just means that I admit losing my money. Instead of doing that, keep on holding; it will not disappoint you.

This may be the very last time bitcoin would go this low. Besides, I don't know how Covid-19 affects bitcoin (tho they say it everywhere). I heard that Covid-19 isn't responsible for the dip. Someone told me that it is because of the dip in oil price and some issues the US is having. I don't know which to believe; Covid-19 or Oil price dip. However, bitcoin isn't doomed! Watch it rise! 😉

Bitcoin doomed and nobody is making you believe that, you’re the one that’s doing it to yourself. Normally when you invest your money somewhere you will get worried when the market starts to crash deeply like this. So, it’s normal. You just have to work on your mind and believe that nothing is wrong. And moreover, most of the very assets got affected by the pandemic. Maybe when the price will start going up it will go up in a huge way and even reach another all time high price, you will be surprised.

The Halving is taking place very soon, what if that is going to bring a change to the market? You just never know.

Bitcoin is far being doomed in fact we've seen strong support in the $5000 levels indicating that Bitcoin has a number of users, who still believes in its value. While Bitcoin hold that level, other safe haven assets such as dow jones, S&P and Gold are plunging. I'd say this is only temporary and people will start to see the value of Bitcoin and this will also end the fiat system.

Would you also agree that, stocks market and Bonds are doomed? How about the metals and oil? Friend, there are many things that has been doomed in the course of this coronavirus and not only cryptocurrencies. Though, the much that's telling on cryptocurrency is a bigger one compared to the ones on other markets. Bitcoin will bounce back and reign again and those who panic sold out their portfolios will regret their actions when the market recovers fully. More can be interpreted to the happenings in the world of cryptocurrency.

We can't say it's doomed at the current price. If bitcoin goes under $100 each coin then it would be doomed. The market capitalization still high, so, there is a lot to lose before we say it's doomed.

1 year ago it was 3500$ I wouldn't call that doomed, but a good investement.

It's still holding value pretty good. If we cut the bubbles and panics from the charts and just focus on the average price per year it's still going up. Most of the 2018 it stayerd around 6000, in 2019 it was roughly the same. This year for the last 3 months it was around 7000 on the average.

I'm waiting to see if it breaks below the 2019 low. If it does the projections will be really bad.

i don't think so, people are being too exaggerating this situation, @op where you not aware of 2018 dump? did btc go to doom? that dump from 20k to 3500k is worse than this in my opinion and btc was able to recover even not up to 20k but above 10k, so rest your mind and hold your btc if you have any, no need to panic although it is very frightening and confusing but the best option is not to panic, just wait for market to recover.
I think many people need to also consider that the stock market is going down and this contributes to the price of bitcoin as well. Large investors get scared during times like these and would rather not have money stuck in risk.

actually many factors are being considered or being connected with the drop of bitcoin not just stocks  but the one that people linked to it is said to be the corona pandemic and also the halving  . yeah you heard it right , halving is another reason of the drop . as much as people expected that the price will rise because of halving  , the price infact drop more because there are people selling too and they could be large group or whales  . add in the hacking and scamming that are happening on the crypto market    . the price can really go down even without the corona pandemic

"If it doesn't move up and down, then it's not alive" ~ Author: Unknown
Yeah sounds like a stablecoin if it doesn't move up and down  Cheesy

I cannot predict the future but I guess bitcoin is fine and not doomed, this current downtrend is caused by the combination of all the current bad news and fuds happening to our community right now. For me, bitcoin is supposed to be uptrend, cashless payments are a much better option in our situation now to avoid contact with other people concerning covid19 but anything can happen on crypto and I hope it will recover soon.
This is somehow true. The idea is that why there is no movement because there is no transaction happening on a particular token, you can all notice that in some token if there are no transactions happened, the price is still at a stable state. It is not actually a stable coin, it is just that at that time the prices are not making any movements. We all know that bitcoin is not a stable coin, we can all notice that it is changing prices or value time by time when there are transactions happening around the world. The hardest part is that you cannot actually predict when a pump or dump gonna happen since the price is volatile. In terms of crisis we are facing right now, it is normal to affect crypto but it is not that it is dying or becoming zero in terms of value.

I do not think that bitcoin is doomed. First of all, the decline is caused by panic in connection with the recently appeared Coronavirus. It also happens not only with cryptocurrencies, but also with oil, gas and all assets. Therefore, we hope and wait for the growth of bitcoin

Only weak hands and newbies will be misled at this time thinking that Bitcoin or the entire crypto industry is doomed. This isn't true. In fact, this is the right time to accumulate and stalk up. Bitcoin has seen worse days and this now isn't anything that should scare a veteran crypto hodler. Besides, the pandemic Coronavirus has also affected other faucets of the global economy and not just Bitcoin alone.

If you get infect by the Corona Virus, then you might be doomed Grin

Bitcoin is not doomed, but it is down for a moment, and it will rise again. No need to worry about that, and we should use this moment to buy bitcoin.

Many people out there say that bitcoin will end because they see the price still going down, but they don't know that bitcoin can increase in the future.

And if they don't use this chance to buy bitcoin at a low price, they will regret it in the end.

This crisis is already being resolved, we don't want to think that this will doom the market because there is no chance that this will become a destroyed market. Cryptocurrency market has pioneered and made a mark for itself in this global economy and that will never fade. Investors that are trying to sell their crypto might be needing the money for an emergency and we can't judge them. They might be waiting for the lowest point for the bitcoin to plummet then buyback their stock. Maybe all of this is just a very elaborate buy low sell high scheme.

No, It's not only bitcoin which has seen such a huge plunge in value. Stocks across the globe has seen a major decline in marketcap and I believe this is due to the slow economic growth and development due to the halting of activities as a result of the spread of Coronavirus.

As the famous saying goes
"If it doesn't move up and down, then it's not alive" ~ Author: Unknown

The same applies to Bitcoin. The up and down movements are more than normal for a healthy market and we would be fools to think bitcoin is doomed just because it moved back to 5K

Ohh! I like that. First time I heard about that saying.
But it is almost half true. Yeah, half is not.

But with stocks and crypto currencies then yes it is full truth.
It doesn't then it means it is dead.
Even dust coins are moving with 1 satoshi or 2. Yeah, I have seen that in different exchange.

It ain't about the virus though.
We have seen this happened. This should be a normal walk to the park for us.

Has the Corona virus doomed Bitcoin ?

Nope - don't be ridiculous.......they want you to think this.

Firstly, we got into Bitcoin because of financial freedom - money and value that nobody controls - that will never be "doomed" ( but they'll always try to kill it ).
Secondly , I explain in the video below why after every crash investors first go for liquidity , and then into safe havens - we're only a week into this market crash , you will see the safe havens over the next few months.
Thirdly, blockchain has already entrenched itself with many use cases that we cannot ( and won't ) go back on.

Don't make a mistake selling guys - they want you to do this. HODL.
And watch my video here with more detail - https://youtu.be/QGdvGY9STdc

You cant blame up people on not to think up this way.Everytime theres a global news or events/problems etc. . People would really tie it up directly into bitcoin/crypto market.
Doomed? If we look back, bitcoin dropped to the floor for how many times (lower lows) but still it do manage to recover or increase its price for a matter of time.
Instead of panicking, it would be much more wiser if we do accumulate into these cheap prices and when btc hits up 10k soon then thats an easy 100% gain for sure.
