It might be illegal for them, that must be one of the reasons why there are illegal-online gambling operators that are operating in our country which is owned by Chinese people. Our country is not that strict in gambling, as long as you are at the legal age, gambling will won't be illegal, that is why there are a lot of gamblers here.

In china, cryptocurrency is banned, ICO is banned and Bitcoin mining is purely banned. No, it is not legal in China. Not all the gamblers in China gamble legally. Very few people gamble in the main city’s casinos like in Macao. But government does have their regulations and gamblers in one place may not mean it is legal. In the early days of bitcoin if there is no support now bitcoin could have never reached such a level of acceptance and growth.
