No one is definitely not needed many hardware wallets have many addresses and it sends from multiple and you can request with a new one

That hardly protects your privacy. Bitcoin mixers are a must especially if you deal with sensitive and often illegal activities online. But for your general Bitcoin usage, it is not really needed.

But if somebody knows our bitcoin address, then he can watch us as long as we use the same wallet. This is really bothering for me. I couldn' find a solution rather than btc mixer.

That is the reason why we have HD wallets. Bitcoin addresses should not be used more than once if you want some protection on your privacy. But you really want to make sure, yes use a mixer or use an anonymous coin like Monero.
well mixer serve its purpose when we don't want to risk our own wallet address as we knew that there's really still some risk from the eyes of
hackers and mixer are the best ways  to avoid them to notice our big transactions if we are doing it from time to time.

Not every one needs a bitcoin mixer.Only people who have huge sum of bitcoins and do higher value transactions fear of their security as any one could easily trace their transactions and also if they want to avoid paying huge amounts of taxes to governments.they use such services to mix their bitcoins to avoid being traced out.

No. Its not a must to use a mixer for daily to daily transactions but if you want to be anonymous and your transaction wants to be hidden for reason e.g. buying drugs in deepweb or senstive things, use mixer to hide your tracks but there are other ways to anonymous without paying a mixer service.

Not really if your transactions is a legal transactions then you don't need to used mixer, unless you are doing big transactions and you feel more secure to stay hidden so the hacker is not targeting yourself then you can used the mixer, if you are just used it for daily transaction and it is still a small transactions you don't need the mixer

Do you think that it is a must for everyone to use a bitcoin mixer? Why and for what purposes?

I've never used a mixer, I don't find it useful.
If I don't reuse (much) the addresses I should be safe. If I want to hide anything I use anonymous currencies - in my case Monero - but actually I have nothing to hide.
I don't see why I should rely on an imperfect (and costly) solution like a mixer.

Well, I don't think that using a mixer would be required, since regular wallets that have multiple addresses are pretty safe and will make you hard to track, so there is really no need for it
When you use a regular wallet, the wallet will handle the addresses for you.  This does not mean that your transactions are 100% private.

Your wallet sends from multiple addresses.  When you send larger amounts of coins, like I occasionally have done, you are sending from several of your addresses at the same time.  And even if you use two different wallets to separate your identities, you are not private.  If you send to an exchange like Poloniex, to that deposit address from two places and then you withdraw to your own wallet, those two wallets are then linked together.

People are very naive about Bitcoin mixers in that they assume they are private anyway.  Governments, and often even normal individuals, have extremely good blockchain analysis tools.

If you want privacy, you either need to be competent in handling your addresses yourself, or if you want it to be easy then you use a mixer.

Mixers are not for everyone but they're not just for criminals.  If you hold a large amount, it's also to avoid criminals.

Depends if you need more anonymity than Bitcoin can offer. I use paper wallets for every transaction which makes mine harder to be tracked. Remember that you can see if an address is owned by a wallet and if you have a thousand addresses in one wallet, you can still be found out to be owning them. (Talking about Blockchain.info, for instance)

It really depends on you. If you want an extra use of security then you can avail on this type of service. I personally don't use mixers since my transactions are limited and doesn't really require it.

Yes, Bitcoin mixers are a must in the crypto market. Without them, Bitcoin would not be where it is today as it was used mostly for illegal transactions in the early days. These users needed a way to launder their coins to avoid being traced. Do not mix your own coins manually... it takes way too long and isn't as reliable as a professional mixing service.

Now, not all mixing is illegal. In fact, it is perfectly reasonable to want to mix your coins for a variety of reasons. I recommend ChipMixer as they are 100% FREE as opposed to the others who charge commissions.

This is one of the most interesting comments in this thread. Your comment explained why bitcoin mixers are must in bitcoin market, and maybe its a bit stretch to connect bitcoin success with bitcoin mixers,
but I understand the point behind that. Now we are in different times I hope.
I like to keep myself from everything illegal, except traffic tickets I never done anything wrong. I would not dare to share my opinion in this thread cause I never used bitcoin mixer, but thread headline is
is bitcoin mixer a must? I do not think that bitcoin mixers is something that we need to do, why would I need to do that? If I am honest, I earn with my effort and knowledge I will not have anything to hide.

wouldn't trading you bitcoin for altcoins a few times be better then any  mixer ?Alot then times you be getting dirtier coins then the ones your trying to mix on then services  Grin

Research before you comment, there is similar threads about this matter and in most of them you can find that its too expensive to do this in the way you suggest it. You need to pay a lot of fees, and if amount is really
big you have some limits, so you can not do that instantly.

Almost everyone making online transactions thinks that using bitcoins would be a good way to stay anonymous. But the truth is bitcoin transactions are not really anonymous at all. All transactions are recorded and can be seen publicly through the blockchain. When you use your bitcoin to pay for goods and services online, you will need to provide some private information in some cases. This means that your transactions can be traced by a third party to find information. In order to avoid this from happening, bitcoin mixers provide services where your bitcoins are mixed with others to make it harder to be traced back from the original owner.

Do you think that it is a must for everyone to use a bitcoin mixer? Why and for what purposes?
Actually bit mixer services are used by those persons who are totally want to be anonymous and make bulk transaction .
And there are few people who want remain always annonymous due to some other reasons ( don't want prefer to show anyone ) .
But overall I don't think that there will be any use of the tracking because here in the current time many numbers of the wallets are available whose wallet adresses kept changes every hours and every transaction .So there is not much use of bit mixer ( but still some people needed because of thier business security and privacy ) .

When we use bitcoin for purposes that do not violate the law, it is not necessary to use bitcoin mixer. But when we use it for something that potentially to cause problems later on, gambling as an example, then bitcoin mixer is a must. As we know, gambling isn't a legal thing in many countries.

To straighten out the question, we could ask "Is privacy a must"?  And ultimately, that boils down to a matter of preference.  Privacy is a big deal for some people and not even remotely a concern for others.  If privacy is important to you, then yes, use mixing services, learn how coin taint works, use a new address for each payment you receive, make sure your wallet software utilises change addresses (not all do) and a few other steps you can take to limit traceability.  If you don't care about privacy, however, you won't need to do any of that.

If someone wanna be anonymous transaction in bitcoins, they must use bitcoins mixing services (i recomended to use cryptomixer.io they have the bitcoins in reserve and it can be trusted in experience) but if the people doesn't wanna be anonymous in transaction of bitcoins, the bitcoins mixing services is no needed.

Well, I don't think that using a mixer would be required, since regular wallets that have multiple addresses are pretty safe and will make you hard to track, so there is really no need for it unless:

1. You suddenly received a bunch of funds, and you need to cover your tracks for the people who are chasing you.

2. You want to do something illegal and cover your tracks.

No need really.

i can't see the reason of a mixer, i never used, one, it's better to use multiple wallet if you want more privacy, which is what i'm doing, besides a mixer is not 100% anonymous, because the one running it can still track you

and also what make the transactions areally anonymous, is not if it can traced back but if it is linked with your real name, if they don't know my real identity who care if they can trace all my transactions back?

Me too. I don't used mixing services to hide my identity like depositing to a gambling site. Better option is like what Amph said, used multiple wallet instead. But we have to remember that bitcoin is psuedo anonymous. So even if we used mixing services, they still know were the money came from because they have their logs as proof. So for me, a mixing services is not a must, as long as you are not doing any dark web or dark market transactions you should be fine.

I don't think that it is must because using Bitcoin in the normal way is enough to stay anonymous from others (other than the party which is involved in the transaction). If we are using it for legal purpose then there is no need to use Bitcoin mixer. Yes, if you want to take extra precaution for your transaction (for journalists etc) then they should go with Bitcoin mixer because they are the ones who are mostly under the radar of the government.

If the Blockchain lack protection features to protect your financial privacy, then you must use some third party service to fill that gap. The mixer services just break the link in the chain for you and you can strengthen your pseudo-anonymity with tools like this.

You still have the choice not to use them, but then you have to deal with the risks. < getting targeted by hackers & thieves > I will rather use them to increase my security and anonymity.
