Certainly. Why wouldn't it be considered as money? It has value and is used to exchange for other goods and services, just like paper money, only it is digital!
People have different understanding but what is right is the government definition because they create money.
Even if it's not on the definition but by looking on what we are holding we can already consider it as money,  bitcoin is money for me.

A broad definition of money would be something that has value that can be used in exchange for something else. Bitcoin easily fits into this category, and has ever since the first transaction for a pizza for 10,000 BTC over half a decade ago now. Bitcoin is definitely money.

There is no doubt that Bitcoin is money. It is an online version of money, a digital one. If it can buy a pizza then it is money. There is no more trade barter right?  Wink Strictly speaking, in technical terms, it is called cryptocurrency. But the root word is still currency. And a currency's role is as an instrument to purchase something or pay some services.
Maybe more precious than the money people all know, with bitcoin the value will rise and it has a limited supply so
once you hold this you are one of the lucky people in this world who has a great investment in their wallet.
Let's spread the good news so we can see a massive adoption in the future to come.

If you don't think it is or disagree for whatever reason, I just don't know what to tell you.

I think it is more of a good than that of a money. A good that increases or decreases its value. But if you cash out the bitcoin I think it can be called as money.

If you ask me, bitcoin is just an asset in today's world but it can be money in the coming future when everything would be paperless and all of us will be having RFID chips fitted in us for identification and spying on us.

No it's still used as currency but it's going to happen that we are about to go with a paperless economy. And this is just the start of it with bitcoin, I have read that news about the RFID chips. Every transactions that we will be going through we will just swipe those RFID's or it's on the part of our right hand and we are paid with it.

Bitcoin is obviously a digital currency which can be exchanged into physical fiat currencies. Bitcoin can be utilized for making day to day online transactions on many websites and offline transactions at certain stores. There are bitcoin atms in certain countries around the world which will keep increasing in number over time. All of this clearly implies that bitcoin is indeed money in a digital form.

I agree with this point if Bitcoin is using the payment method and also for the purpose of saving and investment so that Bitcoin can be considered as a money. it is the major virtual money at present. day by day Bitcoin is getting more and more acceptance whole around the world.

it has played an important role in the virtual world. hopefully, in the future, Bitcoin will be a global money when it will play a dominant role in the monetary system.

I believe that the statement: "bitcoin is new kind of money" passes the duck test.

Bitcoins function as money (they're a unit of account, a medium of exchange, and a store of value), and if PayPal started allowing Bitcoin transactions tomorrow I'm certain they'd treat them as Just Another Currency.

If you like, call it a commodity, but I think all you'll accomplish is confusing potential users who might think they'll end up getting pork-bellies delivered to their porch if they don't get rid of their bitcoins.

Well, I absolutely agree that bitcoin is a new kind of transaction. In addition to that, bitcoin is a digital money that you can use in different kind of transaction like buying some stuff on online market and you can also use it to buy some altcoin in online market. Lastly, I believe that bitcoin is our future money.

Bitcoin is more than money. It is virtual gold. It is a valuable commodity. It should be on the new channels when they run financial markets.

Yes it is a virtual currency and technically it is a cryptocurrency. It behaves like currency but most people consider it as an investment because it rises its value through time.

Yes! Bitcoin is definitely money. We can trade it, sell it, deposit it and gain a lot of profit from holding on to Bitcoin. The very best part is that we can sell Bitcoin by converting it into cash then withdrawing to our bank accounts.
That's true, that's why bitcoin is also a money, bitcoin can also buy things that what we wanted online and it is easy to convert into fiat, just like when you want to convert a dollar into some other currencies. We can convert it and deposit it into our bank accounts.  Cheesy

If we will answer this question literally I don't think that bitcoin is already counted as a money unless you turn it into cash. I don't think that there's existing bills or coins of bitcoin. It is just a tool like gold that you can changed to money. Yen, dollar, real, peso, etcetera.. Those are what I consider as money. Money should be tangible.
Basically all U are are trying to say is that Bitcoin is just an asset like gold not a currency,
Well I would like you to tell that many companies started accepting bitcoins , many traders started accepting bitcoins  , steam accepts bitcoins  .
People do transaction with Bitcoin so that makes bitcoins a currency.
With growing acceptance at this rate , we are not far enough to see the day when bitcoins would be officially accepted by every nation as a digital crypto  currency
