First thread post was in 2018 and we all can understand why its title was captioned that way. It was understandably the feeling at the time. Almost everyone in this industry panicked at the time. It was really a low one for Bitcoin at the time. After that experience which stretched to 2019 I began to see Bitcoin as a phoenix which has the ability to revive and resuscitate itself. Now, back to the present circumstance, I don't think there's anyone who will be thinking that way now. What I can see now is that Bitcoin dominance will gradually drop but as for its complete annihilation, I don't think that will happen.
Absolutely. When I read the OPs post I was like...who would have thought back then that Bitcoin would someday get to an ATH of +$$69k and then, people thought that was the end of Bitcoin like we have seen some still think till now once there is a little correction or even if it was a proper bear season, we can be confident that Bitcoin will rebound when its time again.

Bitcoin in my opinion is boring, transaction fees that continue to increase have made me no longer use it for transactions for almost the last 2 years, and the stable presence of coins has made the bitcoin marketcap decrease so I'm sure one day it will be replaced with altcoins.

I'm sorry it's obvious that you don't really follow Bitcoin's fees. Even at the height of the bull run last year, fees are very cheap because investors uses Segwit more.

And you didn't mentioned what coins that is going to replace Bitcoin in the future? Anyhow, I'm sure you are in the majority that believe Bitcoin one day will be replaced by any altcoin. Ethereum and Ripple failed in 2017 and that was the last time that there is such an attempt and they all fail.

Now try to wash your face and open your eyes so you can see clearly that Bitcoin transaction fees are very cheap using the Segwit32 network, so many campaigns on the service board use the Segwit32 Bitcoin wallet.
Do you know the Segwit32 I'm referring to ?
If you don't know, try to learn and see and understand well so you don't carelessly say for Bitcoin because until now there has been no Altcoin that has been able to replace Bitcoin at the top.

I don't think so, they can never kill bitcoin in the first place. We can't deny that this is one of the obstacle that cryptocurrency had to passed. There are groups that want to control bitcoin and i knew that they won't succeed.
sure.. bitcoin have been facing struggle since it's establishment and government is the only challenges of bitcoin starting from the upset, so emphasising that killing of bitcoin and not killing of bitcoin, the question is that in what aspect do you think bitcoin can be killed or been abolish since the documentation of bitcoin is not any where to be find, so what people who is in government agitating not what that will come to pass.

Not the first time for bitcoin to meet its dead. Even when bitcoin is still trading around 39k and you called it is dead and what a non sense thing from people who are feeling panic when the bearish market was coming. The correction was just a common thing for now but when you are seeing this as a serious problem you need to control your self not being called bitcoin is dead. bearish trend was something common in the crypto and that's the reason why there was volatility in the market.
If you are a expert trader and you will never call bitcoin like that.

Corrections that occur in Bitcoin do often occur and can make traders in the market experience mass panic, but many speculators give a fairly positive view of price movements that will occur in the next 2 months because there will be a large inflow of Bitcoin and could so it is possible that the price of Bitcoin will rise quite high in this Q2, so if there is a deep Bitcoin price drop then shop quietly.

Obviously almost no one in here really thinks that bitcoin is dying just because it's price goes down a few percent or maybe even more withing a relatively short amount of time. People that are in the crypto space for a while will know that this has happened dozens of times before and each and every time bitcoin has recovered from that and most of the time even was stronger afterwards in the long run. That being said, of course no one can know if we reach another Bitcoin ATH anytime soon, if ever. I personally think that other projects have just way more usability and scalability than Bitcoin has. Of course Bitcoin is still the king for a lot of crypto enthusiasts as it was the project that started all.
I wouldn't be so sure about it. There are some people who are here just to bash crypto, no idea why they are here or if any of them are real, some of them are clear trolls but some of them do look like they really hate crypto. At the end of the day we are talking about a situation where there can't be just 100% of us believing it going up.

This is why I believe that we are going to end up with some people hating it and that is why we are going to see some people saying bitcoin will go down. If you hate something, you do not want it to be doing good, you will always want it to go down and crash, maybe you will be right? Who knows? I do believe that we will always go up though, even though there will be downs at times, in the end it will always go up.

This post was created four years ago the situation is very much different from what we're seeing right now, Bitcoin is nowhere in on its death bed we sometimes forget about Bitcoin's obituaries where it details and record every discussion about Bitcoin's death

it has already been recorded 447 times Bitcoin's death

https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-obituaries/

Whenever we see people discussing Bitcoin's death we should show this website to prove them wrong.

Lol. It's really getting boring. I mean these bitcoin obituaries. Dont these FUDders get tired of announcing the death of bitcoin? I mean its obvious bitcoin and crypto has such a massive adoption, its so huge and getting attention

I totally agree with this comment. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency. Currently, the market is still affecting the Bitcoin highs and lows. When this is the case, no one can say that he is dying for bitcoin. Because it is the bitcoin movements that even started the period we call the bear season. For this reason, bitcoin will always remain the king in the crypto money industry and will always seriously affect the market.

This is not a drop as bitcoin has broken away from the $34k region, the lowest this year.  But it looks like bitcoin is really caught in the middle of a bunch of negative pressure…the history of winning is bitcoin's and we're pushing through greatness.  Just wait, crypto unity will beat FUD
^ I hope this is your choice,  Just a bump in the road. Hold on for the long haul.
I believed that BTC will pump and bump in the last quarter of this month, I saw that this is just a normal correction of BTC price. When the price will be able to survive in the middle of this year, that is a good sign that could probably we hit another ATH and we saw a lot of predictions regarding the BTC price on the speculation board. However, the real fact is no one can predict the price but we should have to wait and have faith. BTC will become more expensive by the end of the day.

I hope this teaches you not to draw conclusions just because of a dip, Newbies get this right, dip or bad market are pieces that makes up the Crypto-currency atmosphere, I understand the worry, some coin can actually go into this dip and won’t come out now that when good research is necessary before investing, but in terms of coins like Bitcoin, eth and some other good Alts the chances that happening is low, even if a dip last long, this big coins find away of recovering especially Bitcoin.

How many more obituaries can Bitcoin get before it is declared it won't die? Seriously do we need to surpass 100k first before people stop calling for its death? I wouldn't worry honestly and in fact I am pleased with this current dump because we have strong support at 6k and if we can bounce there again, it only means good things moving ahead.

If you are a cryptocurrency enthusiast, you will have seen this pattern several times and you would have know that there is always a light and the end of the tunnel. So don't give up believing because Bitcoin has come to stay.

don't be in a hurry to think that bitcoin will not rise, the history of bitcoin has always been against people who think that bitcoin will soon perish, in fact I have found this more than once. I wouldn't go back to assuming that bitcoin would disappear completely if for no very obvious reason, if it's just a sharp decline, maybe we're at the point of a saturation market and a bear market. The thing to do now is to buy it if you believe it is a low price, then trust bitcoins because they will immediately generate huge returns.
I really don’t know what would make anyone to panic at this time. Even at its lowest currently, compared to what we have seen before, the market is still at a very high price. Before now we were very far from $40,000, but now this price of $40K has become the regular price of Bitcoin.

The all time high price we had around 2017 to 2018 was below $20,000. So, what we have now is like double of that price. So, why would anyone be saying that Bitcoin is dying when we are very far and moving ahead? This is just a bearish trend that usually happens in the market and when the time is right we are also going to see an uptrend again.
