Bitcoin is not only the future, it's happening now. It has already become our reality and all cryptocurrencies are the part of the finances.
With time it will probably go through some changes itself but I think Bitcoin has changed our everyday lifes and businesses forever.
Money in it classic form will slowly disappear with time and new technologies will replace it.

We dont know. What will happen in the years to come? Yes it could be but some will base to a practical one and that is still paper money. The thinking of what if there is no internet will still pop out. Where would I get some money to buy for my needs if I lose my internet. Hell I dont think internet will be free on those days to come.

Well bitcoin might not be the best crypto to assume those place, as there are already others cryptos with some advantages against bitcoin, and currently bitcoin value is based into the miners that rules the all ecosystem of bitcoin. But i do believe bitcoin has power and support to face any issue, and make any upgrade to let all happy .

I think that it will become a reality. because of financial technology that is currently growing rapidly in the internet is bitcoin. Well, we know that today the world is focused on the Internet that makes everything easier. it would probably be a tool to make bitcoin transactions in the future, where they make the system offline and online transactions using bitcoin in a very simple

There is a chance that Bitcoin will be the future of money! No one knows what the future holds and all we can do is make predictions. Many pessimists have discounted Bitcoin and have said that the cryptocurrency has been dead for many years, but the current price for a whole Bitcoin is over 700 US dollars. I like to think of Bitcoin optimistically, where the sky is the limit and the currency will replace cash. All we can do now is spread the word of Bitcoin and have more people realize the potential.

No, Bitcoin is simply the first working proof of concept. Future digital cash will not be anything like Bitcoin. This is the very early days, still in the Gnutella era of crypto-currency.

Go to sleep.

If it would be the future of money then my wallet, my home will fill with money..  Grin

I would get my salary as Bitcoin. We can use BTC frequently at shop, mall and all places.

It truly is the future. We want power in our own hands not the banks/governments. We in control of our own money. THe money is mine so I want control not a damn bank. Take the profits away from the banks and into the hands of the people. Bitcoin is liberation !! Viva le bitcoin !!

Bitcoin has been proclaimed dead 89 times. It has been labeled a Ponzi scheme and a failed experiment. Writers have argued for it to be forgotten and for developers to move on to greener pastures. But moving beyond this rhetoric, it’s not all that difficult to compare the rise of bitcoin to that of another technology: the World Wide Web. http://blockgeeks.com/questions/what-is-your-future-predictions-of-bitcoin/#comment-604

I don't think that Bitcoin is death project.
Sometimes I think that creators of other crypto currencies write or start such articles in order to confuse people and to bring them to their side.
Right now, Bitcoin is already future of money and leader among virtual currencies.
I don't think that anything can replace Bitcoin in the near future.
Of course, I can't predict or say what will happen in 50 or 100 years.
Maybe something else will be better and more advanced than bitcoin but right now we are the top, leader and future.

calling bitcoin ponzi scheme is so 2008 nobody thinks about it as a ponzi scheme anymore ever since real businesses started accepting bitcoin and when people could spend bitcoin just like money.

and bitcoin is dead statement is also too old, although we hear it from time to time but nobody pays any attention to it anymore because we all know why they say it.
They could  probably say that thing   on 2008    that  bitcoin is a  ponzi  or dead  coin hence  its  just  being  born or just started and  for sure we could even  say that thing  if  we are on those  times. The  lucky ones are those  people  who  strongly believe  on it  and those  early adopters   which really  pays off them well  if they  keep  their  coins   up to  now.  Bitcoin  does  continue  to  develop  even  more  and  as a  digital currency  it would  surely be used  by everybody  but   its not possible to be the main  currency  in the future.

I think so. Transactions used to be done during meet ups only. Then it was available to send money abroad using money remittance services or banking services. Right now we can send money, pay our bills, and receive money by just using our smartphone. There are different companies and apps that allow you to do so but most of them have flaws. Bitcoin doesn't have any significant flaw at all. In due time, people will migrate into using bitcoins.

This question doesn`t have one answer, I`m staring in all this answers, predictions, wishes, and in this topic, and there is so much of everything. I believe in changes, system we have now is very old one, and I expect changes to come. Bitcoin have a good structure, and it seems like bitcoin have advantages over fiat. That is not enough for one currency to get to the top, in end we as people decide what will adopt or not.
I support bitcoin, and for that reason I would like to see bitcoin as future of money. Just for that bitcoin will need many supporters, and in case that people start to like bitcoin as something new and better then everything else, expansion and taking primate will be easy task for bitcoin as currency.

oh, yes, failed experiment. Who wroted that about bitcoin? Who thinks that this is failed experiment? It's secure and anonymous and I can't see what is failed here. Everythink is okey and nowdays many company tries to add bitcoin payments in their websites and also some local stores accept bitcoin paymentsand day to day number of it's user grows and it seems that bitcoin is only growing.
I think it's not future of money but it's alternative yes.

In future everywhere digitalization makes great changes over every nook and corner of the world. At such situation something in a digital form will be preferred. In such a way I believe bitcoin might at least be considered as future of money.

Even if bitcoin isn't the future of money, it is a step in the right direction. Obviously bitcoin has some flaws but the decentralisation of economy is definitely something that we need to work on in the future for this current system to prevail.

Can you indicate what are the flaws you can see with bitcoin? Because for me, bitcoin is the future money or if it is not going to be bitcoin then the developers of thinking a digital currency will be a future money. Maybe they will just get the idea of the same thing as bitcoin and they will just create a copy-cat like bitcoin currency.

Well I'll answer for Invulner here, I think that bitcoin has several things that we must consider before assuming that it is the future of money

- Is PoW really energy efficient, wasting millions of dollars worth of electricity on printing money?
- Scalability issues
- Anonymity issues
- It is just a currency, while others like Ethereum are a distinct platform for smart contracts and online commerce altogether.

If you look at the internet, when it started out with ArpaNet, it has some similarities to the evolution of Bitcoin. It was a small network and people said it was only used by a selective group of scammers and pedophiles to spread crime. So we are in that stage now, where everyone seem to doubt if it should be used for anything else.

We will push through that barrier and evolve to the next levels, when mainstream adoption becomes a reality. ^smile^

It is sure  becouse bitcoin have so many advantage than fiat. We just need to use it and wait for it to grow. Just compare the market caps of any company of any country that has a play in a fiat stock exchange... 60 billions at minimum vs the few 11 billions of Bitcoin.
