Bitcoin sounds as money for me for sure!
I only hope that in the future bigger companies (such as Amazon) will start accepting bitcoin.

Bitcoin definitely sounds money to me as I am earning it like fiat money and I can also use it for online and offline shopping by converting it to my local currency and it can also be transferred to your bank account within no time so its like other currency to me.

I don't understand why people keep comparing gold to bitcoin within the context of currency. Gold hasn't been used as currency for over a hundred years. People wear gold and the buy it to keep as an investment (store of value). When was the last time you saw some one buying something with gold coins? The only reason gold coins are made is for investment purposes, it's nostalgic to have it in an actual coin form.

Further gold is a metal. Bitcoin is electronic, not tangible, it's different on so many levels.
Yes, that's the way they are, just like what you said. We're not comparing the difference between them, but the value it has.
The first time I knew about bitcoin, it is a money, digital currency they stated which it has value intrinsic and could be used for buy many things. Until today, bitcoin still used for that purpose too even though less than before since high fees become problem.

Bitcoin is always money to me, but right now we have the very limited option for buying anything when compared to fiat currency. But in the coming days, there will be many options to buy with bitcoin. By that time there is no difference between fiat currency and bitcoin, but when it comes to value bitcoin is very powerful when compared to fiat.

No worries time will come that Bitcoin will be used all around the world and we will not be limited to internet usage only.  With the hardworks of the developers, even though they have an argument right now, I am sure at the end they will come into consensus and fix the scalability  issue.  And from that Bitcoin will really be a sound money and will even have a higher price value than what it is today.

I would also like very much that the developers reached a consensus. If this happens, then we will get a strong cryptocurrency. Then exactly bitcoin will conquer the world

Bitcoin is considering like a real money. It's not fake coins. So I think no one will say bitcoin is not money. When you can convert it into real money. So it's like money.
You will use it internet. '(I mean shopping or paying bills.. etc)  by converting it to a local money in you country. Also you can do fast payment by bitcoin and with low taxs.

Yeah bitcoin can be used like other normal currencies as you can buy things with them and you can also send money across the boundaries so for me bitcoin is a real money and I am also earning it in different ways like earn money in fiat.

Bitcoin is not sound Money, instead it is a real currency for me. Because as long as it can be accepted as payment online, it is money that can be consider where you can convert bitcoin into a real money.
Good for you as real currency and bitcoin has a vast difference between in terms of safety both in paying of goods and theft. Converting bitcoin to money isn't that easy as there is some sort of risk which is definitely involved. And in terms of online payments bitcoin isn't accepted everywhere i just hope this happens sooner so that i don't have to convert it to fiat

As long as bitcoin can be convert in a real currency, it is called money. I'm not gonna treat bitcoin as money if I cannot sustained all my expenses in my daily routine in life, and I'm sending money in different places and I do save money also because of bitcoin. Meaning, it is a real currency/money for me.

Yes and no.
If you ask my government, bitcoin is not money, or financial assets.
If you ask me, bitcoin is money Smiley
Realistically, bitcoin will never become official money because of some limitations like no regulation, no control, decentralization, and specially anonymity.
Still I think that bitcoin will become more popular and mainstream like alternative currency and online payment.
I'm sure that in a few years most online merchants will offer bitcoin payments and its price will jump to the sky Smiley
We are in the right time and in the right place guys!

You know, bitcoin is really a money because it is a currency, that means money. But it is different for a money that we buy in local markets because bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that can be found only in the network and the money that we used to buy is a digital currency but don't worry because in the other country are trying to adopt bitcoin for a payment.

Yes, well it was a form of immutable digital gold.

The problem with your value being derived from being sound money is that you have to be extremely cautious with and sensitive to change. As you can see by the market reaction, BU is too much of change for the market and/or is not supported by the market.

This is why the market has chosen gold, because man's ability to influence it is limited. However as you can see with Bitcoin as with many other alts and real currencies that come before it, a group of people can think they know what's best for it and destroy it's value completely but hopefully in this case BU will listen to the market before it's too late.

Bitcoin is money indeed, and even its better and more valuable than the most currencies right now. You can use Bitcoin to sell and buy almost anything online, and i think in the near future it will be used offline too worldwide, already its used offline in many countries.

We can buy anything with bitcoin either directly or by converting it to fiat currency so bitcoin is a real money to it as whenever I am short of cash I sell my bitcoins and get hard cash in hands and its used for shopping and also to transfer money so it definitely sounds money to me.

First of all, not all countries have a wallet that converts bitcoin into actual currency, nor we can buy anything with bitcoin. But good point though, I do the same thing, but I'm not so sure if people has the same wallet that we have.

I personally never compare bitcoin with any other thing like gold or silver nor i ever thought it is not a valid investment asset, it has been earning me something for my life since i have joined it and that is all i know about it, i can use it for buying things, i can convert it to fiat, i can pay bills with it online or do any other thing we can do with money, what else are we discussing it for?

It's always been an attidute of humans to compare things. Let's take this example, a Windows operating system and a Linux operating system. Two different system one purpose, to help us in our workstation, but still we can't help to compare this two OS, why??
Is it better?
What is the advantages and disadvantages of these two?
What is the drawback and how it can affect me and my performance?
My point is even if we don't want to compare we can't help but to look for the characteristics we found on the other to the other and we always tend to seek for the weakness of something to something. Sometimes this is the reason why humans always develop and improve things, because of comparing what we already have to what we don't have. Bitcoin won't exist in my opinion if Nakamoto didn't compare it to gold and fiat money.

In my opinion bitcoin is gold in internet because bitcoin obtainable by mining and not be printed like fiat money, but the bitcoins can be used for payment method is like fiat money. And it is just my opinion every body has it.
Yhup. Bitcoin is the actual money online. Its like a Bank or a Credit card online. You can also use bitcoin in buying products online. But bitcoin is somewhat different in actual money or cash. Bitcoin changes its price every now and then. You have to monitor the price of every or most of the cryptocurrency online just to make sure.
