Yes, to my mind, you should hold Bitcoin and wait until the price is good. It is not very stable that's why you should wait until it is cheap to buy and then sell when it increases. In the long-run this currency will provide you with good profit

If you want to make a lot of money, bitcoin's not good for it. It is more possible to achieve this by investing in altcoins that have not yet entered the market. So if the ICO investment is made for a long time, I think it definitely brings money.
Bitcoin has a better future compare to other cryptocurrency in the market. So we could have a good time on having a holding with bitcoin prior to those alternative coin out there in the market. Although i do think bitcoin will never go away and is a decent long term investment (crypto wise) i have to disagree with you on the fact that its not the best crypto investment long term. In my opinion, Ether is the best long term investment due to the fundamentals behind it. Its the only crypto that provides real value by allowing you spend the token in order to run any arbitrary program.

There are coins that are good for long term investments. You are correct that bitcoin is one of the best cryptocurrencies that are good to hold in a long time. As time passing by, the value of the bitcoin is continuing to increase due to its limited supply in the cryptocurrency market. For long term, bitcoin and ethereum are the best investments. Other ones are not that solid and you can't make sure if their support is that strong. Bitcoin and ethereum provides the best alternative to cash and tradinional currency.

as you know, investing in btc and hold it in the long-term which is also the safe way to trade. but you should know that during investing time you only make one transaction, it's mean that you only make the profit once times. on the contrary, when the price rises and fall, you take advantage to sell and buy. making many transactions as that will help you increase your profit. therefore, almost people like invest in the short-term more than.

For me yes, it would be the best long term investment because it is the coin that has shown tremendous growth and it has the first mover advantage. It is the first cryptocurrency and the king of all cryptocurrencies at the moment. There are many speculations as to how much would its value be in the next few years and majority of those who believe in cryptocurrency has a positive view that it would be worth much more and surpass its all time high. Some use it for its real use which is a real currency compared to other coins that are just pure speculation.
