As of now Bitcoin and Ethereum are those coins that needed long term holding for you to maximize their potentials as part of the future currencies. I think they are the stable coins in the market and have the potentials to be part of the next generation market, so holding those coins can give you more chance of earning huge amount of money in the future if you take good care of them. So if you have the money in your pocket right now go and start buying them and make a risk of holding those because here in crypto world the more you risk the more chance you succedd.
I think there are many other coins which could be good for long-term Hold ETH for example ,maybe some privacy coins Monero,Dash,Onion so BTC is not only coin i think.
Bitcoin can be said to be the most profitable investment today. With the increasing popularity level then Bitcoin is believed to be a pioneer for digital currency so that one day digital currency can be reversed legally on a financial system in an institution / agency / place / country. If viewed in a track record then Bitcoin has shown a good graph to be used as an investment. Long-term investment is indeed an option and this is a good time to say that Bitcoin has brought tremendous changes to the financial system in the world for the better.
Bitcoin still has bigger community than altcoins so in my opinion the price will keep growing in the long term. Many expert predicted the price of BTC can be going to $90K in next 2 years. But Bitcoin and others altcoin like ETH and LTC has the same future, will continue growing because more and more people will interesting and jump in to crypto and blockchain technology that will increase the demand.
Well a lot of long term investor already profit a lot from bitcoin, nothing is permanent someday an alt will gonna takeover bitcoin but for now you can see that investing in bitcoin is a smart move because it is a genuine coin up until now there is no coin that surpass bitcoin of course there will always be something better that comes up. For me bitcoin is the best and wise long term investment to have because it has proved to be very appreciative in the past 9 years. I believe other alts such as ethereum and litecoin can be a good investment
It's value and how its movements go are good indicators that its better for a long term or a contigency-type investment. Bitcoin has these trend of being dormant for months at a time, it could take to as long as six to nine months, thus, the return and realization of investments done with it as a medium would take long. I must say that bitcoin is only best for long term investment of money and that this holding of bitcoin for longer period of time will actually help you in having of some good amount of money after some time
No doubt that etherium and litecoin are options for us to use instead of place of bitcoin to keep the transaction more faster and cheap but In actual if you will go with the altcoins then I don't think you will be able to make yourself more stable with your investment to hold for long term. I think most of the people and investors here in crypto currency are they know that bitcoin is good for the long term investment and not for the short term investment, long term investment of bitcoin just like 1 to 2 years i think you will be a millioner at that moment.

Of course, Bitcoin should be kept for the long term period. I have a belief that Bitcoin will dominate in the future world and it will be the most influential currency like today's USD. In the future, Bitcoin will be the most common currency within five years and the price of Bitcoin will be almost 50k at the end of this year. So this could be a profitable way for making money within a short time period. That's why holding Bitcoin could be the most money making platform.

Actually, most of the investments are better in a long term because the longer the time, the lower the risk it will have. It is also applicable to stock markets where value of the stocks gets high over time. If you would notice , the price of the bitcoin varries from time to time. If you would buy and sell everyday, you just wasting your money and effort jnto nothing. Same logic when it is long term.

yes there is no doubt bitcoin is the best long term hold because everybody who connected with btc they all knows well about btc what btc had given and giving also to the people if btc price falls down then for sure there is something moving in the countries thats why btc price falls but the thing is that when its falls just for the time little and then again its get the good level in that case also people taking advantage from btc where they are getting to opportunity to buy again some coins.
