Yes, it's very possible. Because bitcoin is really easy to use and easy for transaction not like paypal or other digital money. They don't have that advantage on bitcoin.
I personally think that bitcoin and gambling are great together, gambling with fiat often involves many restrictions and bitcoin helps to avoid these. One downside however is that it does mean that anyone can gamble, even people classed as underage in their country.
I personally do not gamble and do not advise others. This is a great evil, as the probability of losing all of your bitcoin is very big. And do not expect that you're lucky.

He probably doesnt mean physical places as it is mentioned in the question that as if bitcoin could be the future of online gambling, so online gambling is just on internet and i think bitcoin has already taken over all other currencies in terms of gambling as it is very easy to deposit or withraw so people would surely prefer bitcoin over other currencies because of that.

everyone will do like that, when they will bet with bitcoin they will love in that way and will then do not use fiat for gambling, so it is right that in the future all of the gambling sites will use bitcoin or their altcoins.
I think there are still much more people that gamble using fiat out there. May be if bitcoin doing some promotion out there I guess it will be sure bitcoin will be gambling future currency but for now I dont reslly think bitcoin have really much affect on reality
