I think one of the reasons why its more popular is because its anonymous and most likely alot of kids are starting to gamble because its impossible to prove age.
It could be but there are a few sticking points -
1.) Price volatility
2.) Needs to be much, much more adoption
At the moment bitcoin is a long way from being the leading tool/payment method for online gambling but of course it's possible.

it definitely is mainly because casinos dont need any licences so there can be as much as people create also bitcoin is anonymous so people arent afraid to play it
yes i think so , nowadays the great gambling sites use Bitcoin either as unique payment processor, or as one of this payment processors, and also the number of gambling sites which support Bitcoin is growing up daily , so we can guess that Bitcoin is the future of online gambling

Most definitely! We have been using alternatives for the real currencies since the dawn of gambling ! For example,the real reason the invented chips on the table because according to the law gambling with "currency" is a crime .So if a place gets raided by cops and they find the chips on the poker table they can never use it as a solid proof that it resembles real currency in the game .We have come too far now ! Cryptocurrencies should be taking over soon!It is safe,secure and soon it will be legit !

I see many gambling sites already accepting bitcoins. The real test would whether big casinos like las vegas sands will accept bitcoin but it is not a dream if more and more people uses bitcoin.
If only bitcoin has stable value, this may come true. But as you can see right now, bitcoin still alot of problem because it's security.
So I think bitcoin need more and more time to be implement as replacement
yeah i agree!!! big casinos will be hesitant to accept bitcoin because of its value and security.
they may accept bit coin if the value is stable and the security is solid, but im not sure if many gamblers
will use bitcoin, specially the hardcore ones.
i think bitcoin is not only the future of online gambling but also it is the perfect thing for it too. the ability to send micro-transactions alone is enough to make bitcoin (or cryptocurrencies in general) a suitable option for online gambling.
on top of that cryptocurrencies like bitcoin always have low fees in comparison and they are too fast. besides they can be anonymous which can be usefull in some cases.

they have been saying that bitcoin is ideal for online gambling for as long as i have studied bitcoin. it makes sense, so many transactions back and forth, often micro... perfect fit for bitcoin.
Bitcoin is obviously a new technology that seems to be completely adequate to gambling. If it will not be Bitcoin the future of gambling, at least the concept will be the same.

What I can say is there are many people that know bitcoin already, but the gambling site are still not yet promote their site to everyone else, just from campaing you can't attract outside people, thats why many gambling site is not really popular outside and still the players are from this forum

I use to think so too but Bitcoin will have to fix itself up, the recent attacks on Blockchain can really mess things up, I lost a few bets because either they were delayed due to spam attacks or they were pruned from database because the previous transaction changed it's ID. So until these gaps are filled which gives these attackers/hackers free entry to play with transactions or slow them up, I don't think it can become the future. And this is a serious obstacle which Bitcoin needs to over come.
These scenario are really a big deal especially in those popular gambling sites. If a popular gambling site will adopt bitcoin as one of their accepting currency then it must really fixed. These is only one of many important matters that shall discuss by site owners resulting to longer time of accepting bitcoin in those popular sites if ever they will consider accepting it.
I think it is a good assumption that bitcoin can become very popular in gambling and become the money (token) to use easily in online gambling casinos.
because it is easy to use, fast and anonymous so everybody can use it from everywhere and gamble. besides when using bitcoin, you don't have to rely on anybody (like your bank) and you manage your money on your own. so you don't have to be afraid of their rules or any annoying other stuff.

Its true that bitcoin in gambling is pretty easy to use but fast I dont think so because fast or not it depends on your site and blockchain too. Nowadays people are having this blockchain problem that take a longer time to do some deposits and withdrawal

yes still many people out there think that bitcoin is the biggest ponzi scheme sure i do not believe on that.
agree! once pokerstars accepting bitcoin it was a big step to bitcoin future as major digital currency but it is not an easy job.
