GRIN got a huge pump to $14 but now it has dumped to $3+. Will it be wise to invest in GRIN now or I have to wait some times more? Does it have any chance to get dumped too.

I suggest you use some indicators like RSI and open it with tradingview. If the indicator says it will still go down below $3 then wait for it before buying and investing some of it. But if the indicator say it will finally go up, buy now. It is maybe it's bottom price. You'll surely have profit by now if you buy on it's dip.
The fact is that this is a very thin line and it is not always possible to catch it, even with the most intensive and attentive information processing. It is clear that the cryptocurrency market needs to be monitored constantly, and most of the free time is spent on this, but many projects have fluctuations very often and very sharp.

The hype for grin is over for now IMO price will get down between 1.5$ to 2$ then you can enter & the price will increase gradually over the longer time based on how they devlope their infrastructure & work on business partnership in future. The recent pump of GRIN was purely speculation & due to that a big hype got created.

@Little Mouse. The present supply should not matter, however inflation should. Grin will have an inflation rate of over 10% for the next 10 years, over 5% for the next 25 years.

Compare that to dogecoin's price pattern which presently has a 4.45% yearly inflation and you might not like what you see.

That pattern looks like a real downer, right. On such a high inflation they are more sort of a collectible for enthusiast.
Might be the right coin for GPU mining on the other hand just today.

It's easy to get caught up in all the hype, but if a project demonstrates solid development progress and has a good community forming behind it, it's likely to represent future value, regardless of its relatively high inflation rate so don't focus so much on trying to profit immediately if you're seeking to invest and just add some to your portfolio when it gets cheap enough as there'll likely be rewards for doing so once the technology matures a little further and the market trends upward again

3 dollars is still a good price to buy if you ask me. Grin is a solid coin with strong  potential. It could dip further, rise or stabilize at this price. It could even end up being affected by the current market. Nothing is certain here.

Grin has an unlimited supply so i don't consider it a good investment and neither does theymos. However, it is new technology so early investors and adopters might benefit if it goes mainstream. One to keep an eye on but not to put coins into it
Grin has infinite supply but short term, the supply is still low. I am hoping for a hype again which may take grin to $20 at maximum. In that case, investing now makes sense but I will wait for a while now to see if the prices go lower again as someone said it might face another bottom.

Hype can happen at any moment. But that will be short term correction. You will need to act fast and sell at right time.  Also since Bitcoin is close to bottom I would rather look at Grin price in BTC then USD. Bitcoins USD price will mostly go up in next 3 years. So even if Grin price stays same Grin will still lose compared to Bitcoin.

Thank you for breaking down the aspect. Looks like I have to consider all possibility before going for investment. I was thinking differently though.

Wait for $2 if you ask me. It's good tech, but it's not gonna last long as both LTC and BCH will implement MimbleWimble so nobody wuold actually bother using Grin. What you're relying on is a good pump, and it's not going to happen immediately after the previous one.

The chart does not look so comfortable based on the daily supply! If there was a limited offer, it would be a good entry, but it's a difficult situation, only you can decide.

Wait for another dumped from 1st upto 3rd dump then i think that's is the right timing to invest, but of course you need to leanw ell and analysts it well and the decision is your to avoid blaming.

The market just started to pump and if you will apply the philosophy of buying low and selling high, you will start buying coins that has potential at their lowest. And as you  can seee with GRIN, you should start buying it if you solely like it.

If you understands the risk that it may go lower then wait for some moment before buying. But if you did your research and analyzes it well, you'll start to think that it's best for someone to buy which applies for any coin if it hits the bottom.

There is a lot of excitement about grin in the forum and it is understandable since it seems one of the few good projects out there but when I see its emission rate I cannot help to think that grin will keep going down in price for a year or two so I do not see any need to buy the coin now, take your time but keep watching the market once in a while and see if it is finally the right time to get some grin in your portfolio.

Understanding the reason for the rise and subsequent fall would help guide your decision on investing.
Grin was recently endorsed by Bitcoin forum, and this acted as a sort of shill and could have caused the rise and then the price corrected. This may not be the bottom yet, you have to make your own analysis.
