China totally controlling Bitcoin.

BTC.TOP operator: “We have prepared $100 million USD to kill the small fork of CoreCoin, no matter what POW algorithm, sha256 or scrypt or X11 or any other GPU algorithm. Show me your money. We very much welcome a CoreCoin change to POS.”

People here have claimed that Bitcoin is in fact controlled and ruled by China, as mining is centralized by Chinese mining institutions.

Do you think that China is controlling/ruling bitcoin yes or no?

to my knowledge no one can control except the user bitcoin bitcoin itself, if the china-many places for great bitcoin minning large and the owner of the site looks china trading so that such control bitcoin prices whereas my knowledge it is not. as defined by sathosi Nakamoto.

How do I get the bitcoins from China cheap? Like which of the exchangers is best know for cheaper coins

The bitcoin from the chinese exchanges aren't so cheap, try to visit coinmarketcap.com and see all of the markets of bitcoin and you can see the gap between the price of bitcoin in every market. Asian markets are so cheap rather than the western market in my mind.

The bitcoin mine cenario has a huge presence into China, im pretty sure that the miners has a big influence into bitcoin, but those doesnt make them have control over bitcoin. The early adopters has the bigger ammount of bitcoin, with that said they does have big influence as well, even some big exchanges has a huge power.

This can be answered by both yes and no. In some aspects, yes China does control bitcoin. Most exchanges and trades made involving bitcoin are coming directly from china, I believe 99% actually. If you take into account what bitcoin actually is and does you can see that it is actually impossible for any one body to really "control" and "rule" the coin albeit unless they actually control over 50% of all bitcoins. This is plausible but very unlikely. As far as your question goes, personally, I'm on the fence.

the most people which is controlling bitcoin is people that have much of bitcoin and they are in everywhere, but i think is not because china or other countries that controlling bitcoin but we are controlling our bitcoin itself because we see in the market, many traders will do something with the bitcoin price and until now, the price is not going to be big than $9xx.
I think you are wrong, by “most people” I think everyone is controlling bitcoin, we have a say in things. This is not a corporate or goverment run business, this is a crypto currency and I believe bitcoin is waaay bigger than one man controlling it. Maybe some small tiny coins but not bitcoin. We control bitcoin as a whole not as individuals.
There is no exactly who are controlling bitcoin due to large amount of number of bitcoin user even china cant control bitcoin we are decentralized and they just manipulate the price of bitocoin but because of  the china testing manipulating the price of bitcoin there are some investors or new comers are buying bitcoins if they are seen the price is going down because they dont want that mining bitcoin not become profitable..
And i think china will make a big mistake if they sell all their bitcoin because there will be other country will get his position to hold more bitcoin than china holdings..

I am very sure that that control price bitcoin is china, the use of the bitcoin in china is the largest fair so if china can control the bitcoin. Behold the exchanger bitcoin in china, in 1 day could reach millions of dollar for transactions bitcoin.
indeed. Bitcoin prices are affected by the China since the hold most of Bitcoin. Although i do not like the China, I have to admit that they are really great in this field. They keep increasing the Bitcoin prices over many years and more and more investors in China decide to learn more about the blockchain technologies and other cryptos, which makes Bitcoin become even greater and more popular

I personally do feel that the big holders or big exchanges and organizations in China could easily be the ones controlling bitcoin. For example, 2 weeks back the exchange price was nearing 1100, and suddenly some chinese authority or exchange went into inspection and the price crashed to 850. Now they could easily have been creating fake news and shorting on the fall in price.
It is possible for them to manipulate without any doubt because they have invested heavily into bitcoin and majority of the miners are from China so bitcoin is relatively new and there is not much rules and regulations like a normal exchange so you have to accept these sort of fake news to pumps and dump.

"China" is most definitely not controlling Bitcoin in the first place, if that is so then what you most likely mean is "Chinese miners control Bitcoin" which is a statement that has some factors speaking for it. There are indeed a large amount of mining farms of significant size in China that have a crucial impact on the network. But China in the sense of the state or the entirety of its people are certainly not controlling the network.
It may have significant influence for bitcoin, although every decision was born from the Chinese is affecting the bitcoin's price.

It can be happening if there are some hashpool trying to be grouping. but if we're aiming about the single person is controlling the network and it will never be happening.

I hate to break it to you, but you are too insignificant for them to tip their hand at how they can control BTC.  Wink
I'll take my chances. I have always ignored illogical "what if" scenarios and have always profited as a result. But I'm not going to tell anyone what to do with their money. Especially when it could become my money at a cheap price.

We are the one who control bitcoins and not country. We are the one who are responsible for every fluctuation of its value. Bitcoin is for everyone. China is not that powerful enough to control bitcoin. If every people in China owns bitcoin, no doubt they can control its prices
China is not only the country that accepts bitcoin but also other countries. So everyone has control of bitcoin not only the China.
I think the idea of this thread is more about China controlling bitcoin due to the amount of hash rate the country has within the network, bitcoiners start getting a little worried when a group of people get close to the magic 51% number but i wouldn't be as worried if China as a whole had 51% hash rate as i would if a single mining pool had the 51% to themselves, and it wouldn't matter where that mining pool was located.
